Solid debut. Has half a second less on the ball than he is used to in u23 games and that showed BUT he played well. Potential to be very good!

Looked a bit nervous at the start as expected, but grew into the game and was excellent.

Some of the passes made to him didn't help. Should really be trying to avoid passing him the ball and putting him under pressure until he's had a few games to get settled in and used to the speed.

Take it then the 2 other matches he played this season for the first team didn’t count.

Really impressed with him, made a couple of errors, but recovered almost instantly. Looks a very good prospect

Really good debut, especially against two established strikers. He wasn’t afraid to get stuck in, positioning was solid and he looked comfortable enough on the ball.

Its certainly exciting for next season (and the following few) if even some of the other youngsters we brought in over the summer have as much potential, and are always as close to he first team, as Williams and McCallum.

Great debut from Williams last night, so many good young CB's at the Club right now, Williams being one of them, Thompson and Drysdale are also highly rated.

We have another coming in as well Rose? So you would expect one or maybe two to be off Willis and Davies spring to mind unfortunately

Next season we could have;

Willis - if he signs a new deal.
Davies - if he signs a new deal.
Thompson
Drysdale
Rose
Williams
*Hyam

I'd be happy to lose Davies, Willis I'd like to keep as on his day I believe he is the best CB in this league.

Looks like he is stockpiling centre backs next season instead of left backs

I think he's resigned to losing Willis if we don't go up. He could easily end up somewhere and I hate to say it but at the villa on triple the money.

Willis will have a choice of clubs in the lower half of the championship

There is an option of a further year on Davis's contract in the clubs favour.
He doesn't have to sign a new deal he just needs Robins to want him.
