That awful incident with the young steward at Southend is the most cringeworthy thing I can remember since Schteve Mclaren's dutch maschterclasch. He wouldn't leave it even though the lad was just a kid. Part of me wanted the kid to get up off his stool and plant a left hook on him.

Wasn't that when he was saying he smelt or something?

Against Wycombe it was quite entertaining him having beef with one of their defenders but for a big unit who's a bit of a gangster I can't ever remember him going through a defender or leaving a foot in or anything that showed physicality.

Yes that was it but it wasn't funny he just looked a right tit. As for the Wycombe one, at least it was against another footballer and not some student trying to earn a bit of beer money. GANGSTA styleee.

Bakayoko would probably suit the style Robins is trying to play more anyway. Drop off, pick the ball up, lay it off and then get in the box.
I notice that Robins told the Telegraph today that we rejected offers for two players this week Nick
He admitted one was Willis & I hear the other was Bakayoko from a club overseas
That probably gives an indication of Robins' immediate plans I guess

Never lived up to expectations after his debut against Brighton in the cup really, against them he looked a good acquisition, maybe it was just for the cameras. Wish him all the best.

Apparently, both Portsmouth and Sunderland were after JCH and willing to pay a fee according to Robins earlier on. Willis was aware of the interest in him but didn't want to go -- that's a good sign!

Portsmouth signed Bogle and Vaughan. They still have Hawkins, Pitman and probably a couple of others I don't know.

Sunderland were linked to most strikers in the world at points throughout yesterday. They must have decided against JCH and signed Will Grigg instead.

I wonder why no one was interested in Bakayoko

They were. ;)

I'd have loved a cheeky bid for biamou too to blow your mind.

Yeah an "Overseas" club - Newport FC (IOW)

The steward should have made sure he got the ball and pretended to throw it at JCH when he went to get it.

Would have hit the deck like a sack of shit.

Maybe it was a bluff to make them feel more wanted

Interesting that it was reported that Willis wasn't interested. The wrong club? Can attract more wages in the summer, if more than one club is chasing him? Wants to stay with us (?!?!)

Because they probably weren't willing to pay a fee.

They didn't even put a bid in.

Fair point. Again, I can’t see why we’ve got rid of him for free though?

With Ogogo, the mutual termination probably waived the signing fee we would have owed him, so that’s a positive.
