I think the most depressing thing for me is that Blackpool were absolutely shit.
That's the thing. I was hoping for mid-table before the season started but having seen how we've played and the standard of opposition we should be doing far better.

Yet again today a game where we should have been out of sight by half time that we've ended up losing.

Are we? Has that been posted somewhere?
Saw it today on the internet tried to put it up on here will try again.

Only looked it up as it was mentioned to me at the game and I didn't believe it even wycome were higher then us.

You know it's not going to be your day when Nathan Delfouneso scores against you.

Have to disagree re budgets MR has spent nearly a million quid on three attackers and got Ogogo and Junior Brown from Shrewsbury, they wouldn’t be cheap contract wise, I would think that budget alone would compare to most in our league.
Really what is the budget in this league then?

I really can't believe our budget is only 18th in the league. I'd like to see where that information came from, as the this seasons/financial year accounts won't be public until next year.

Watching the EFL show last night the guy doing the voiceover for our highlights (think it was Nick who used to do the Sky NFL games) described Chaplin as 2usually reliable". Unless he meant usually reliable in missing easy chances. Mind you, he did also say that in missing that chance he looked more Charlie Chaplin.

It doesn’t but it does break the opposition’s game up. At times yesterday we looked scared of committing to a tackle, it’s like all of our players were already on a booking.
They did it and broke our momentum down. If we had done something after the first to break the game down they wouldn't have got a second so soon after.

What game did Blackpool come to play, it’s not like we needed to break up there flowing football.

It was a set piece and a long ball which they scored from.

Giving away needless free kicks and giving them a chance to pump into the box is playing right into the hands of most teams in the division. Particularly given our lack of ability to defend set pieces.
