the birthday boy posted this on his Instagram, is he on the move, not fancy his chances of getting more game time or Chaplins chances of scoring?!

On the bench, so my money is on Grimmer coming on for last 5 mins if we need a goal, otherwise splinters.

His sister also said on Twitter she ‘can’t wait for this season to end’ so no way will he sign a new contract

Will be interesting to see where he goes, he was with Shrewsbury on loan in L1 then signed for us. Might even go back to them?

It's weird, we don't have any other right backs though. Strange how a mainstay of last season's team was just dropped like that. Yes Sterling is better but he's not ours. Perhaps Robins saw Grimmer as a weakness

Grimmer was ever present last season and topped it with a great finish at Wembley then dropped like a stone for Sterling.

Not questioning the decision but it’s harsh on him isn’t it. I’m be suprised if he stayed.
Leaves us short though obviously because sterling is a loanee.

Did hear that Grimmer has been advertised as available as has Ogogo. (Mind you came from same source as told me we were signing a Swindon youth player. That one has stalled apparently as their chairman has asked for a fee).

I think it was the way he was very harshly dropped at the start of the season for Sterling, despite his great efforts to help us get up last year.

Sterling probably should have been a sub to start with and obviously now he is showing his class and Grimmer can't be too unhappy to be 2nd choice now because sterling isn't doing anything wrong but did feel for him at the start of the season.

I'm assuming Big easy got us Sterling.

As you say great... as long as Robins doesn't think much of Grimmer long term, as it was bound to send him off.

Edit: Viveash autocorrects to Big easy, which is worth leaving In!

Chaplin has got a cheek to post that.

Shouldn't be anywhere the starting 11 himself with the shit he's churned out so far this season.

I seem to recall that Robins was unhappy with Grimmers' fitness level when he returned to training after the summer break.

Its a tough one for him as hes competing against Sterling who is a fantastic talent and has a bright future ahead of him. He only comes in if Sterling is injured. Don't blame him if he goes, he wants more game time. I don't see why Robins don't sit him down and offer him a better contract for next season and making it clear he will be number 1 choice.

How can he guarantee he will be number 1 choice?

It’s clearly a joke, it’s probably got more to do with their positions in the celebration...I think some are reading way too much into this
