Consistently coming for crosses that he's getting nowhere near. He either needs to get on the end of a cross or just fucking leave it alone as all he does lately is come for a cross, get stuck in no man's land and leave a wide open goal begging to be shot at.

Me and the lads at the game were all saying, were not in a position to get promotion, were unlikely to be sucked in to the relegation, if the fucker doesn't want to sign a new contract then bomb squad the c**t. Give Corey Addai til the end of the season to either get game time and prove he's good enough, or justify us going out in the summer and bringing in a new keeper and keeping Addai as back up.

Yep, make sure we're safe then send the drip packing. Ain't left his line since the last time he fucked up about 2 months ago.

I thought that Derby County second choice keeper, Roos, looked capable when their FA Cup replay was on tv about ten days ago. Seemed to come and catch or get distance on his punches. I believe he is out of contract this Summer. He and his team mates kept a clean sheet today.

Makes too much sense to replace Burge with someone with more quality. We'll spend his wages on 3 shitter keepers probably.

Thought he was very, very poor today. He stays rooted to his line far too often and then came out for one, flapping like crazy. He makes me nervous.

Oh and his kicking is still awful.
Hard to find a redeeming quality, avoids shots well I guess?

I enjoyed him coming for a cross with both hands spread wide above his head like a scooby doo ghost without the sheet over his head. He got nowhere near the ball but might have scared a couple of the pesky kids.

If I was him I would be thinking about signing that contract because with his current form it may be his best offer and at some point soon we need to withdraw the offer and move on

Missed that opportunity to get him cheap and develop him when he had something silly like 7 clean sheets in his first 12 games for Nuneaton after coming over from Holland before Derby paid a small price for him.

Sums up our scouting system back then when talent is on the door step

I’ll say this confidently. Burge will play at a higher level in his career than Coventry will be in the same period

Last season I thought he improved a lot. But said at the time I felt it was because of the level we were playing. I stand by that.

Agree with Otis, he’s a good shot stopper but everything else is missing. I’ve always felt that he’s been quite lucky to have played the amount of games each season as he does. More recent pre seasons he’s started as back up. Although admittedly this season he was out with flu, wasn’t he? so LOB got the nod but he didn’t come straight back in after a few nights of night nurse, he got back in because the manager lost faith in LOB. Right now if we had better competition, or even if LOB was fit, Burge should really be looking over his shoulder and be close to being dropped: but unfortunately I don’t think Addai is much competition and as a mate said today is only on the bench to make up the numbers so he can get complacent without that worry.

Really looked like he’d turned a corner following last season and the start of this season, but that Walsall mistake seems to have killed his decision making.
