Because across all parties it was concluded it was a very bad deal for the country.

It was the softest Brexit we could have - I wouldn’t believe politicians if i were you

I try my best if I can, but I have heard political correspondents now say we might get a softer Brexit as a result.

the word there is might. nothing is factual. they tell you what you want to hear. why don’t you use your own brain instead of listening to others. the media brainwashed people into their thinking. that’s why brexit upset so many because they didn’t get there way.

I haven't been upset about anything that has gone on so far and I voted using my own mind and thought process and wasn't influenced by any politician.

What makes you think I was influenced by any politican or party?

I haven't been at all and haven't seen this issue as a party political issue. As shown yesterday with the vote, MP's voted up their own belief and conscience and not upon party lines.

I grew tired of politics some time ago, after formerly following it all quite intently.

But it is not just MP's. It is financial experts, business leaders, car manufacturers etc. etc.

So many have come out and said it is a bad deal and that also seems to be the consensus on here doesn't it?

I know a lot of the people want the deal, but I think a lot are just of the ilk 'leave means leave' and they are not considering the impact and aftermath and merely want their right and their will upheld.

I just wonder how many posters on here, upon seeing the thread title when it was first created, wondered if it might have been about them.

Business leaders were all demanding we take the deal?

You are that clever you didn't realise I was just randomly throwing in a random phrase.

No wonder the country is fucked.
Yeah, I got it.

Why do you think I keep ending my posts with winkies. ;)

So much is misread and misunderstood on here.

Exactly.

Why does Britain like tea so much? Because tea leaves.

Obviously that was initially, but as this article says, a majority of business leaders backed May's deal, not all, so I was correct. Some business were against it.

More than 170 business leaders join call for second Brexit referendum

No the CBI were accepting of it and many including mine were campaigning for it.

The deal was pretty much stay in Europe - the fact the most obsessed europhile in Parliament who’d gladly become part of the Reich tomorrow voted for it tells you everything you need to know about the “deal”

Forlorn I know, but I hoped that you’d have something interesting to add.

It's difficult to believe in yourself because the idea of self is an artificial construction. You are, in fact, part of the glorious oneness of the universe. Everything beautiful in the world is within you. No one really feels self-confident deep down because it's an artificial idea. Really, people aren't that worried about what you're doing or what you're saying, so you can drift around the world relatively anonymously: you must not feel persecuted and examined. Liberate yourself from that idea that people are watching you.

And that's what I said. I just referred back to originally and then to a Guardian report that a majority backed May's deal, but not all business leaders.

The CBI did. Given a referendum is impossible what did they support?
