I loved seeing it. The bloke is full of confidence for the first time in his career. You can see the way he enjoys the fans cheering his name.

However, imagine if he messed it up... Some Coventry fans would never forgive him.
There was however that cross he missed completely near the start. I think he is very much improved but still very dodgy and non commanding with crosses.

6 is average isn't it? What points have been deducted?

You don't start at 10 and then deduct points when they do something wrong. ;)

What did he do so badly that he needs points deducting?

deducting?

6 is usual starting point for most in ratings as far as i am aware, could be argued it should be 5

and he flapped a cross early doors that could easily have seen us go behind

Blimey. Bayliss a 6?
I though his performance (apart from one misplaced pass) was excellent.
Even before the sublime assist, I thought he played really well.
In fact, I thought the way he played was a good riposte to the numpties* who have been suggesting he should be rested.

*That would be me. Perhaps there is a reason why Mark Robins doesn't sound me out in team selection

He did okay, great pass for JCH goal but just thought he looked a bit low on confidence lost out on quite a few challenges especially in the first half. I'm a fan of his but 6 isn't a bad score.

Clean sheet. Safe hands at the end when Wycombe were coming at us.
how many chances did wycombe have to score? any super saves?

safe hands at end sure but not at start and it could have cost us. so how does that warrant a high rating?

not saying he was bad but you cant have a go at anyone rating him a 6.

Burge had 2 flaps in the first ten minutes. One of which very nearly cost us a goal. Other than that he handled some pretty tame efforts very well, he didn't really do anything to warrant a score above or below a 6. The clean sheet was more down to the four in front of him than any saves of note. That isn't a criticism of Burge, more how we defended as a unit.
