Allassani is way off first team level - as said above he's been given a second chance after a major injury. Definitely has the potential but needs polishing. I was impressed with what Westbrooke has had to offer, especially given he's a CM.

Depending upon Kelly's injury we could see more of Ogogo and maybe a loanee for cover - like the idea of Conor Coventry that was mentioned too, a kid with massive potential.
When Chaplin signs it'll open up another loan spot too.

Maybe we tried to take the mountain to Muhammad, rather than ask Muhammad to take the mountain to us.

We need the 365 revenues the mountain will secure and we are working tirelessly to find our own mountain. An artists impression of the mountain will come out in a few weeks, let’s say, 3

Nope. It's the Norwegian model.

I’d not mind ambitious look at Leyton Orients Macaulay Bonne if a few quid should land in the pot.

Could pay dividends in time in more ways than one.

So Robins has put it out in the media that he wants McNulty to give him a call if he's looking to move back.

CJ Hamilton has now unfortunately become a unrealistic target of mine after Preston have reportedly had a fee of 750k rejected.

“But I have not heard anything.

"I speak to him now and again, although I haven’t spoken to him for a while, and he’s never mentioned that he’s in the market to come back.

“But I am sure that if there was something in it then he would pick the phone up and ask.

“But there’s nothing in that at the moment.”

Reads to me that he thinks McNulty will ring him if he wants to come back.

You’ve made that sound better than it really is....

Asked about the player being linked with a return to the Sky Blues, manager Mark Robins, who enjoyed a close working relationship with McNulty, admitted: “I think that would be natural because of the fact that I don’t think he’s playing.

Thought this the other day. Has an excellent record at Leyton Orient already and still young. Can score all types of goals as well.

Robins has been very chatty today!

Doesn't sound too great regarding Burge & Willis. In terms of wage bill, replacing Burge with a keeper of similar quality will cost more, due to his improvement since signing his last contract. They may justify that Willis is a high earner and can strengthen the team with his current wage. Tom Davies could go either way.

I’m not so sure on this, it’s a step back in the long term. It pushes one of our own players down the peking order and game time they need more than a loan of a hero of last year.

More that the Media deliberately wanted a comment on a fans favourite so they could get some vague comments back from Robins to wrap into clickbait.
I agree:-

HEADLINE: MCNULTY'S RETURN TO COVENTRY CITY FC

content: Interview with manager Mark Robins reveals Marc McNulty should ring him if he wants to return.

Just read it I would rather keep Davies than Willis can’t see Burge going tbh just depends as now we’ve let their contracts run down.

Isn't this McNulty rumour maybe coming back just an admission that Robins fucked up in the first place.

By letting him go,his contract he signed with us was due to run out May 2019,he sold him under pressure,we didn't have too.

Whatever you say dude! whatever you say
Wasn’t Upto him mate no doubt Robins wanted to keep him players head was turned by agent & reading hence why his agent said if we blocked the move we would have a miserable player at the club who didn’t want to be there.Personally wouldn’t have him back after that but no doubting he was a class act here and I’m sure he would score well in this league.

He sold him because his agent engineered him a big money move and threatened a moody player.
