Excellent
Thomas

Good Additions showing potential
Sterling
Mason
Brown
Hiwula (technically very good but left wing is not his position)
Chaplin (but given his reputation I would have expected a little more at this point - want to see him more advanced)

Below Expectations so far
Ogogo (recovering from a long term injury)
Allassani (no game time)
Westbrook (no game time)
AB (brilliant sub appearance - needs game time!)

Overall - still very pleased with the signings and more to come from the above.

id say Ogogo time hasn't materialised yet, he doesn't look at the races so far, but clearly there is a player in him

AB is an unusual signing, but lets see by the end of the season

Allassani, Westbrook, Walters etc have been signed for the U23's, not to star in the 1st team this season

Thomas not excellent due to the lack of end product, Hiwula has produced a lot more in less game time imo.

All different opinions. But we're clearly watching different games Fernando! Hiwula is technically excellent but is not suited to the left wing position. Would work better in a 4-3-3. Thomas on the other hand is continuously creating serious problems for defences with pace and control.

Sterling and Mason need to go up to excellent imo and Bakayoko surely into the shoeing potential category - hardly came with a great rep and scored a couple of important goals in little game time. What did you expect of him? Thomas I agree with but needs to step up his decision making but then I guess that's why we're able to have him here.

We are on a 6 game unbeaten league run and it’s very much a team effort and coincided with the likes of Brown, Chaplin and Hiwula becoming regular additions to the team, all new additions. I like the look of Mason but he’s hardly featured yet one for the future. All the new recruits have been good, Ogogo just can’t get a run in the team yet but he will I’ll judge him then.

Think he was referring to goals. He's done more than Thomas when out of of position.

Mason excellent????
Yep. I thought he was our best player before he was injured and his distribution far better than Brown's. When filly match fit I'd like him back in the side.

I like the majority of the signings but hugely disappointed with Ogogo who I considered a marquee signing at League One level. Had a few injury hit years and I fear they may have taken their toll - similar to Andreu's situation. Perhaps giving him a run of games may help him find his match sharpness but that probably would come at a cost, if his performance on Saturday was anything to go by.

Ogogo has been the least impressive so far. His distribution at times is woeful, the Saturday game v Accrington was evidence enough. Sterling has grown in confidence and now seems suited to being a full back - was unsure whether he'd rather be a winger at the start of the season. Mason has been good when he's played, looks very composed for someone who hasn't played a great deal of first team football.

Thomas for me has without doubt been the best so far - his work rate for a winger is second to none and he's a full backs dream because he tracks back. I think that's something that most fans are missing with his game. He's certainly an exciting footballer going forward and gets you up off your seat and the end product will come - his goal the other weekend was his first professional goal.

Luke Thomas would be a 10/10 signing if it wasn't for the fact his end product is shocking
He needs to work on getting a shot off early. It's that split second delay that lets the defenders block or put him off.

Probably Andreu to list of disappointing. Was like a new signing this year missed 95% of last year.

And was built up to have big impact this season.....

Sterling made that position his own which at the start of the season I couldn't understand why Grimmer was in the lineup. Mason certainly growing into that role also but that will take time. Been a little disappointed with Ogogo but hasn't had much gametime to fully judge in my opinion so trying not to be too critical.

Too much smoke been blown up Chaplin's backside prior to signing has raised expectations on this fella (almost the opposite can be said for Baka) which I think slightly tainted his position with us. Don't think he was the superstar, McNulty replacement we were all hoping for but still not a bad player.

All in all some decent acquisitions, MR certainly has brought in a team to compete in this league but we are still way off the top 2 in terms of quality and consistency.

Best player?!

Fuking hell he did ok.
Instead of the critique on my selection, you tell me who you thought was consistently better in those same games that he played!

Stop being so defensive. You didn't even put mason as excellent you put him as good yet you are now arguing witj me saying he wasn't excellent
