Apparently the owners helicopter crashed outside. Not sure on casualties or anything.

Hopefully nobody seriously injured

Just seen a video, hopefully whoever was in it got out before it went up in flames

Sky have changed the ticker tape message as they originally said that the owner was on board. Now changed to owners helicopter has crashed.

From what I saw on Sky News not much chance of survivors in the helicopter.

Hope not too many others around when it crashed, could be a real bad one.

Hoping no serious injuries but it doesn't look good at all.

There will be a few knuckledraggers giving it the 'let them die, Leicester scum' shit but 99.9 percent of fans recognise that when it comes to anything like this, football rivalries are meaningless. Fingers crossed everyone is OK.

Think any normal human will see it puts football into perspective. Will just be the random WUMs.

Depressingly when Matthew Harding died I remember a few people I knew at the time saying things along those lines.

Terrible that!

Twitter is going to be full of people claiming their distress. Fair enough BUT do you know what really grinds my gears?

When people put..."From a United fan" or "...and I'm a City fan" like it's some heroic thing to overstep the football rivalry thing. Another horrific instance of a bad situation that people will flood social media in search of 'likes' and "Yes that is terrible but look at ME. Please give me attention"

Fuck off.

Absolutely horrific, I hope that everyone got out and their are no fatalities, but I fear that may not be the case.
Footballs really insignificant compared to something like this.

Just seen the footage and not a chance anyone walked away fron that. Regardless of whether chairman on there, it's almost certain there will be fatalities so RIP to those who have died. Sad sad times.

By sports showed it in the centre circled minutes before it took off.

I have a close family member that works for Leicester, we managed to speak to him about 10 minutes after this happened, he was stood at the side of the pitch and seen the whole thing happen, one of his staff members is very lucky to be alive as he was feet away from the crash.

It's conceivable that, assuming the Malaysian owner's main residence is in London, that the helicopter was taking him and possibly West Ham's directors/staff back to London. If so it could be that people from both clubs were caught up in this.
