There is far too much imbalance in the team that its making us score goals and win games, get Shipley back on.

In all seriousness though, the goals and wins have started flowing since his departure. Is this coincidence or not?

We started winning at the start of the season when he came in to the team in the first place.

We won and your first thought is to abuse a young academy graduate. Get a grip.
If my post is abusive, you must be the biggest snowflake in the world.

Please explain how asking whether his lack of presence in the team that's led to us winning 5 games in a row is abusive?

It's alright, I imagine all you guys that are saying I'm being negative, are the ones who said he offers balance and what he does isn't noticeable, yeah, theres a reason its unnoticeable. God forbid we criticise our players that I pay to watch every week. Also, yes, I'm a thinking man, I once thought, we should drop Shipley and play with two attacking wingers...the rest is history.

Its more an attack on posters claiming we needed him in the team for balance when clearly we dont
I think that is incorrect.

Posters said he was in team for balance, not that he needed to be in the team for balance.

He isn't playing and you criticise him - I think that's the point people are making. Just enjoy the wining.

Considering his replacement, Hiwula, is scoring a lot of our goals, then The question is surely ‘is it a coincidence that we’re winning now Hiwula is in the team’.

Ironically, there was a thread not too long asking what had happened to Hiwula. Well, he’s been given a run in the team and is repaying the faith MR put into him. With 10-12 (or whatever) goals last season, you would’ve thought he’d turn out to be a decent signing.

Goes to show you’ve just got to be patient with signings...

Much as I like the lad, we picked up when Jodi Jones got injured last season. I think we are better team without him. (Sits back and waits for the abuse)

Thing is, we had little option but to play him really.

He hasn't played well at all and is clearly out of form or struggling, but at the time Robins said he didn't see Hiwula as a winger and Jones wasn't fit and Andreu can't play there either.

I can fully see why Robins was picking him.

I am a Shipley fan, but he hasn't at played well yet this season.

I actually thought we would have done better with Shipley on the pitch in the second half. As much as I love Jodi and he did a good job when he came on, watching him defend wasn't ideal.

Agree mate I don’t feel He’s good enough (yet) for league 1.

Exactly. As soon as it was feasible Robins had him out of the 11.

He probably never expected to have played the amount of games he did last season so to be then league one a few months later looks a step too far at the moment.
Hopefully he'll come good.
Great thread for outing some snidey little cunts though who can't wait to see an academy lad fail so they can say I told you so.
