First away game was a cup tie at Everton when we were in the old 2nd division. Hooked fir life after stopping for tea and a hot dog at one if those layby vans (probably pre M6 days) The city team coach pulled in behind us and I got to discuss the game over hot tea with George Curtis, Dave Clements and Bill Glazier who were all great ambassadors for the club and took all my comments and advice seriously. I was about 7 at the time

Mine was Gillingham away in the cup for a birthday present. Remember it was freezing cold and windy.

First game for me would have been as a 5yr old in the 1973/74 season.Been going ever since and introduced my lad when he was a 4yr old back in 2011.He loves it and loves the fact that he tells his mates about his season ticket. As we live just outside Silverstone most of the boys in his class have the usual kits on and will never see the "their " teams play but his best mate has a season ticket at Northampton which is great as there's nothing like watching live football in the flesh every week.

My cousin is/was gmkonline myth/legend Rob87. Our first games were in his Dad’s box at Highfield Road. It was at pitch level, so the view was terrible, I remember watching Dickie Davies on World of Sport instead of the matches (this is where Rob87’s passion for wrestling started).

First game I saw outside of my uncles box was the 1981 league cup semi against West Ham. Gary Thompson’s wife worked with my Grandma, he got me and my Grandad tickets. Incredible game, Thompson scored an own goal as we went 2-0 down at home. But after that he was a man possessed, unplayable and we ended up 3-2 winners. He was buzzing for days afterwards.

Rob87 along with a few other legends on GMK made it quite a laugh

He’s been behind bars for a while, missed both Wembley matches. Fingers crossed he’ll be able to come to a game in Spring.

Last I heard about him, Rob87 had moved to the Irish Republic to live with his wife. Clearly, if he's now in the chokey, things have moved on a tad ....

This is true. What with the gossip about James and the boat, all I’ll say is nothing serious has happened - but it suited some people for Rob87 to be out of the way.

League Cup vs Oldham Athletic probably in the late 80s somewhere. Won 2-1.

Australia now has Tyrells Worcester Sauce crisps.

‘76 HR vs Bristol City.

Best player that day was Kenneth Hutchinson. A few years later he went to Man City, then retired and joined up with Paul Michael Glaser on Starsky and Hutch.

Funny what you see when googling “GMKOnline”

I am the mythical Rob87 and having paid back my debt to society I’m back... GMKOnline was the best lost count of the number of times I got pulled up at work after being caught composing the latest tirade against Neville or trying to justify the actions of Mike McGinnity

Does your choice of username have anything to do with your enforced absence from society? ;) Wears the soap, and all that.
