Justice for their general horrible playbut they will stop a lot of teams this year with it.

I thought Davies and Willis kept the fat fouler very quiet.

A fantastic cross from sterling and for once chaplin was waiting in there for it

Well deserved victory and for once we were pretty much on top for the entire game.

Not taking anything away from the City, but I thought Wycombe were very poor.

Deserved win all in all, we could be a lot better though with just a few tweaks. Generally solid though so hopefully won't get relegated at least!

Well they frustrated throughout and is why they have so many draws. It's opposition like this that is always difficult to play but we have to find a way to make it count and sure enough we did in the end.
Pleased for Chaplin and Sterling was good again today as was Hiwula. Not so sure JCH deserves his place though he improved in the second period. It was a deserved win and can't wait for Jones to be back. Doyle looked a little awkward today, more about the hoofing opposition than anything else. It's a headache for MR's with Jones, Bako, Kelly and Hyam all looking for starts now. Although Jones not on the bench? Definitely not a team suited to our game but we found a way to get it done.

Great result!! Important three points, could have so easily been a draw. I'm glad it was Chaplin who scored, looking forward in 5 games time after he's scored another 3 more.

Something my lad said today about Sterling playing at right mid has got me thinking, could he play in front of Grimmer when he is fit, this is based on Thomas going back to Derby in January. If he can cross the ball the way he did for Chaplins goal it could work.

Grimmer defensively has always looked suspect and Jones will be available

His worst game for us was right mid against Oxford in the cup.

Jones comeback is a bit stop start though, and Sterling would offer Grimmer a bit more protection. Not disagreeing about him being suspect defensively though

Wycombe came for the point and from the off were negative and conceded to us the majority of possession. I thought first half we played some great football and with a bit better decision making could have been a few goals ahead. But second half I thought we did don’t use the possession as well and for large parts Doyle was playing almost as a left back...far too deep considering the possession we had. Sterling being given the freedom to attack looks a far better player and robins I think should have used him more positively before today.
Really pleased with the result but acknowledge the opposition were the worst we have faced this year.

He should have scored, he skied it.

Heard he had a decent game?

I’ll never forget Crewe away him conceding the game going on and him gesticulating to city fans who were giving him stick but he was completely oblivious to the game!

Strange lad.
