Davies got the highest scores against Wimbledon and Oxford Carabou (if you add up the Player Ratings on this site). Even against Oxford only one contributor did not give him at least the highest equal score. Don't do the U23's as no PR's here.

Oh wow the Oxford game where we had our joint worst performance of the season?

You can't not include games because you want to.

I like Davies. But he hasn't earnt the place since he lost it. Hyam and Willis before Saturday had been our best players I personally would not want to break that up.

I don’t hate Cov, there may be some slight animosity from the older generation or younger “uber” fans but I don’t think the majority are really that fussed.

Personally I’m looking forward to this game the most because I live in Nuneaton and work with a few fair Cov fans.

There you go. Duly edited.

you are right, id wager 90% of Sunderland couldn't give a toss about CCFC

A few bitter geezers in their 70s and teenage keyboard warriors be about it.

Not really bothered anymore! Too many swings to invest my full interest. Few beers and a bit of shouting. 3-1 loss

I only care more about this game than the others because one of my best mates for 20+ years is a Sunderland fan, will be in the away end and we're all going back to his afterwards. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm going for an entertaining 1-1 to keep the peace

Really hope we win this. Big away crowd, on tv, loss in previous match, another big game coming up in the week and i travelled home for the game. City to scrape a nervy 2-1.

He has only played twice and can't choose which games he gets chosen for can he!!! I thought he was one of the few bright spots at Oxford

The way people are going on you'd think it's the equivalent of a Boca juniors v River plate game.

I've just been looking at signs held up at Sports events by fans, and now wish I had a couple of days spare to knock one together re JH and 15 minute delays. Nice if there was an announcement saying Sunderland fans were being held back for 15 mins at the end of the game - or just a big cardboard message placed next to Jimmy Hill's flag !

The pub I always go to before the game is absolutely full of Sunderland fans. It’s not even a match day pub as it’s a good 25 minute walk from the Ricoh. Not a good sign....

Yeah, the sign needs to be a lot clearer doesn't it. Maybe something like 'This is too far away from the ground' or something.

Outnumbering Coventry 5 to 1 in the casino. Nightmare getting a drink.
