pubs for Saturday (1 Viewer)

I have the misfortune of having 3 blues fans with me this Saturday, where's the best place to drink. Was thinking of going into town as the wetherspoons serve from 8, are the police likely to stop this with all lulu's coming over? Any better places to go that open early?

The Flying Standard (the Wetherspoons on Trinity St) quite often has away fans in it before a match. Frequently seen away colours without any trouble. It's right up the road from Pool Meadow too, so handy for getting to the ground.
Dunno if that might be different for a derby tho!

Oh well, at least 3 of your friends will be going home happy.

Don't mean to sound silly but there should be a decent Blues lot coming over (Zulu's and that). There's 30 of us from Warwick meeting up with quite a few in the city centre, should be pretty tastey.

Indeed I do hehe! And good, we don't mind you either. Because of the easy access to Cov this game always attracts the 'lads' haha.

To actually answer the question. The Black Horse just the other side of the M6 in Exhall is known as the "away pub" and often advertises as that in away fanzines. Last time Birmingham came over the pub and beer garden was purely Birmingham fans and me :(:slap:
