Will he play on Sat, and if so how does the midfield look if Andreu drops back into contention for one of those places?

The only thing is match fitness, I doubt he will have played in their friendlies would he?

Brilliant signing if only for the fact that we can see an end to the Chaplin thread at long last!

Horrahhh!

Looks like a decent finisher.

Just have to give him that level of service to open up defences.

Never heard of him. If we get the movement right we could tear teams apart, with 3 very fast players (Jones, Allassani, and this kid) inter changing with Andreu feeding them. I hope we play attacking like we did for the last 10 games or so of last season.

I try to steer clear of forming an opinion based on Youtube compilations but it was encouraging to see a reasonable variety of goals - a few nice headers, a few powerful shots and a few placed, Mark Robins has a great track record with getting the best out of strikers so I'm cautiously optimistic about this lad.

Wasn't a fan of Richard Splash when I watched his youtube compilation though

If it’s going to happen it will be after 5pm as the telegraph people will have gone home

If we do sign him, good to see Robins not making things up. Ending our interest in Chaplin yesterday and signing another target within 24 hours

No, It just seems any one with the slightest negativity gets shot down immediately. I've spend £700 to watch them this season, flogging our top scorer and getting in an unproven kid don't look great. The world has gone so PC, anyone with a contradictory opinion gets questioned! Just seems its easier to agree with everyone on everything!!!
I can see your point, but may I respectfully suggest that if he doesn’t score in his first two games, that you don’t start calling him McWankty?

If he still remains as predominantly a substitute and if no one else signs him, I can see us going back in for Chaplin in January, with a reduced offer of around £180,000.

I'm still positive. Strikers are confidence players, McNulty was brilliant after he scored a couple. Fingers crossed, a good run in the team and he will do well. Still happy about Biamou, JCH and Jones waiting in the wings. Relax! we will be thereabouts come May.

Hypothetically even if we did want to continue our interest in Chaplin the ball is in our court now, we're not as desperate and Portsmouth may have to lower their demands since our interest is waning

There must be a point where someone's seriously planning to unleash 'McWankty' for the first time and a little voice pops into their head saying WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING

It's hard to guage what we are getting when we don't know what the fee will be. If say we were paying £500,000 then he could be a bargain but perhaps if we were spending all of the McNulty money it's a riskier proposition ?!

Depends, their circle of people might find it hilarious so they all want to be the first to make it up.

I highly doubt we're spending that much to be honest.

Bradford City friend of mine says:

"he was our top scorer, but should have scored about three times as many! Last Bradford reject stricker you had from us turned into a star"
