Get a goal scorer in and promotion for sure, fail to sign snyone then top half. Momentum could be a massive factor this season.

I hope we can get around 12th-9th. If we can be in touch with play offs around Easter you never know?

New territory for a few players so hard to predict.

I'm an optimist, I think we will win the league, as they say in Italy, CAMPIONE .

Ok I'll settle for winning the play offs at Wembley again.

Really? We were 18 points off Accrington last year. To think that we’re going to piss a league above is a little hopeful in my eyes.
Fair enough, all about opinions. Personally if i had it in my head we were going to finish bottom half before the season even started then i wouldn't even bother.

Without a decent striker being brought in I think it will be a struggle as we look on paper short on goals, with a goal scorer in 12th

I think we can finish top half, if we get to Easter in with a shout of the playoffs then I'd be thrilled. We have a young team, if they handle the step up and keep improving then who knows?

Top half would be a good season , just no more throw away games in the last few mins. Play every game like it’s a playoff final, I hope the refs are better in L1 now as this will help immensely . We will get a striker I expect , so top half is achievable.

If you think that teams in the playoffs were Shrewsbury, Rotherham and Scunthorpe last season, it is hard to be anything other than optimistic for our chances. I know that this is based on the perceived and historical status of our club compared to these other clubs but I can’t help it. In this league only Sunderland match the status of our club. I know all this counts for nothing in reality but I just feel we should get promotion.
As with last season, reality will kick in once we start and it turns out to be less than a walk in the park. However, the second half yesterday, having Robin’s as our manager plus his comments on signings this week gives me a feeling of optimism I think we will be promoted.

12th. Either we sign a striker now and are inconsistent all season or we wait till Jan and are poor first half and much better second. I think mid table will be good and we'll be a threat next season. Weirdly I'm not looking forward to this season as much as i was last because I expected us to win a load of games last season.

It's all confidence and momentum at this level. We are good enough to be top 6 easily.

We'll do well
Have to smile at some of the hysteria on here
Bayliss and Sterling have just arrived back. Most people in the game think these lads will play at the highest level
Ogogo and Kelly haven't featured yet and Jones is not far away
Add Davies and Willis
Looks a bit better doesn't it?

Mid table obscurity if we get someone who can score. Lower if we dont.
It's all well and good Robins talking about momentum after promotion but without replacing Mcnulty's goals we will struggle.

Absolutely no idea, a lot of new players to slot into a system and gel again. It's the same for us every year now. Is there still the same spirit and togetherness ?, are the new guys just as committed ?! Have we got enough goals ?!
