What are the play-offs worth? (1 Viewer)

So we took close to 40,000, Exeter around 10,000, yet it seems we split the revenue 50/50. Is that right? And is there any kind of promotion windfall? Be nice to know if there's any money in the coffers for start of next season.

Yeah, that's not that shabby is it. Hoping for a discount period for that too, mind.
But it is still over 50p a game. Not everyone will be happy. Too much money going to SISU

Surely it needs to be less than a penny a game to meet the Not One Penny More criteria.
Count me in. 22p a season ticket. But only if I can pay monthly.

Based on 50,000 attendance and assuming an average cost per ticket of £30 [being cautious] = £1,500,000.

My guess is 25% = £375,000. However, I'm sure someone will have a much better ride than me on this.

I would say you could have the most delectable ride for £375,000

I believe costs also need to be deducted from that £375,000. So maybe between £250,000 and £300,000, for yesterday. Maybe add on another £100,000 for the two semi-finals, and total would be between £350,000 and £400,000. Not bad for 4 and a half hours of football

Plus whatever merchandise we have sold.

I certainly saw a large number of the new one-off city shirts. I must admit, those on even the 'portliest' of people looked pretty good...a shame it's a one-off

Hey you! Leave us fat bastards alone!

Will it be? I’m awaiting the “after the Sky blues secured promotion in the new kit we are delighted to reveal it’ll be next seasons new strip!”

As far as I know we hived that off ,so we only get an annual payment . Just like everything else we own nothing.(sorry Ryton ) but that's in Susi's back pocket and you won't see that again.

That seems quite improbable. Why would the club fleece the fans for £45 for a new shirt if they were not going to gain financially from the transaction. I would imagine there is simply some form of net profit share in place for all merchandise subject to various minimums etc.

There’s no way average ticket cost was £30. Closer to £15.

As a reminder average cost at the Ricoh is less than a tenner on £25 tickets. There were a lot of kids and OAPs there yesterday.

I'm not having that. The cheapest concession was £13 (excluding the booking fees). I'm not sure of the total number of each category sold, but this doesn't even take into account corporate/lounges etc. The average ticket price has to be much higher than 15.
