Cardiff for me. I've always hated them.
That's not to say I don't hate the usual suspects of Vile and Festa and the like. I just hate Cardiff more than any of them.

West Ham because of all this West Ham way shit. I also have an irrational hatred for Mark noble I can’t see how he is a pro footballer he wouldn’t be outstanding on a park pitch.

Teams I love to see lose and hope get relegated
Aston Villa
Leicester
Sunderland
Sheffield United
Southampton

Teams I have a soft spot for ( unless they are playing us)
Rotherham
Sheffield Wednesday
Everton
Brighton

Howcome Southampton? Consider them a similar club and were down there with us every year fighting relegation from the Prem. Decent fans too, remember them clapping us at St Mary’s when they got promoted and supported the SISU out petitions

It was always Liverpool in the 80’
Ns and 90’s as they were the best and everyone at school supported them the glory snatchers! In the 2000’s Man Utd-see Liverpool in the 80’s above.
Don’t buy all this Villa or Leicester hating business either-never have.
I guess lately it would have to be Sheff Utd, we all know why-no class at all.

Hence why it’s a personal thing. For me Liverpool and United has always been irrelevant, whereas Leicester has been far more relevant for a number of reasons.

Sheff Utd deffo classless.

I would rather be in our position than Arsenals. We attend games week in and week out with proper supporters who understand football in good old fashioned grounds.
OK they watch great players, but they're in a stadium full of Johhny come latelys with their ridiculous sense of entitlement literally crying on phone ins because their league title challenge faltered or they've been knocked out of the CL.
And to top it all off they some how manage to get 60,000 for home games and manage make less noise than any other team I can think of.

Sunderland and Sheffield United for obvious reasons.
Liverpool. Know a lot of Coventry born Liverpool ‘fans’. All nice people but they have one topic of conversation, Liverpool..

Lastly Bristol City, after seeing their boys try and start trouble with families and pensioners outside the Ricoh

City or Rovers? I saw Rovers doing the same thing last time they were at the Ricoh, maybe it's a Bristol thing.

Not keen on Port Vale/Stoke fans - it's the area they come from (should feel sorry for them really). Most clubs have the potential to have idiots

those stunning big breasted women who support them really fuck me off!

I've met a lot of decent Leeds fans. Especially in Leeds on non match days at gigs. I can understand why a lot of people don't like them.
Remember the fighting on the pitch on the last day of the season when we drew 0-0.
And the ripping out of the seats and flingling them everywhere when we beat them 4-0 and the banging on the car windows looking for fight, whether you had children in your car or not, when we beat them in the FA Cup semi-final and the stopping ane jumping out of a car and setting upon me when I was just 15 and was just walking along with my girlfriend and her little sister, down the Walsgrave Road.

Bit of Bank Holiday light hearted fun...

Time to get the board’s opinion on rivalry/disliked clubs cleared up...its been discussed plenty over the years so let’s put a vote on it.

Which club’s results do you smirk at, which club do u openly hate or despise, who’s fans irritate the fuck out of you?

Comment if your choice isn’t on the poll...It could be a personal thing, it doesn’t have to be a local team.

For me it has to The Cob Squad, I have a huge disliking for their fans and how they talk us down - I live in Leicestershire.
Yes. Leicester City. The media hype over their championship win just makes it worse. Thick sounding twats.

I was in the Brewer when they attacked it in the cup replay. It was pretty hairy with windows going in and a mob of them trying to get through the door to attack us but for some reason I've never held it against them.
Perhaps it's down to my love for the Super Furry Animals!

All their mob were in the Brewer having a drink when Cov put the windows in, don't know what went on after that outside but later on not that long before kick off they tried to come in the top door and put some windows in up their.
I don't even know if it was their actual mob or just lads who had maybe been attacked by Cov and were looking for retribution.

Their was one of them with his face through the little square window in the door which had had all the glass knocked out, it was like the shining!
To be fair, we'd been in the Brewer from about 4 and there were some Cardiff fans drinking next to us and they were shouting leave these lads alone they're just having a drink!

City.
Been on a couple of stag do’s in Bristol and both times it’s kicked off at night between City and Rovers fans, trashing their own town.

I know a proper Arsenal fan in his early 60s who's just given up his season ticket adyer becoming so disillusioned with it all. He's getting one for Whitehawk FC next season.

My first game without my Dad (or another accompanying adult) was the match against the knicker stitchers where there was mayhem on the pitch (1983?). That was a catalyst for despising them but as our fortunes have taken such drastically different directions, it is hard to feel the same level of emnity. It still pissed me off when they won the Prem, even though the grown up in me begrudgingly admitted it was a tremendous achievement.
More recently, I'm going with the flow here and it's the pigs from the wrong part of Sheffield. For that reaction against the protest, they will forever be a skid mark on footballs gusset. My mate is a big Wednesday fan and it is great bond between us and the Owls.

I have some old friends who support Sheff Utd, and went to watch them a few times, in the Brian deane, Tony Agana era (look it up!) so find it hard to dislike them as much as Sunderland. Having said that Sheff U did go down in my estimate when Leon Clarke joined them. Also that game where we were robbed (full back should have been sent off for scything Lameiras, never gave a goal when the ball crossed the line game). Changed my mind - don't like them now!

Wow 16 votes for Sheff U so far, didn’t expect that.....then Sunderland and Leicester.

Local team hatred - The Villa. Always the Villa.

General team hatred - Sheffield United.

The team I have an odd affection for - Bolton Wanderers (don't ask why, perhaps it's pity).

Nicest football fan I've ever met - a Doncaster Rovers fan I chatted to at the Singleton car boot sale in Swansea, a few years back. Even gave me a Rovers home shirt for nothing, and some Me to You bears for my kids free of charge. Really decent guy.

Complete arsehole of all time fan - Terry Christian, remember him? Had the utter misfortune to meet him at Old Trafford in '96. What a shameless wanker.

It's a personal thing. Guy I use to work with and we were business partners years ago and it nearly went "pear shaped" due to his actions. We always agrued over football ( he was a shithampton" fan ) and whilst we haven't spoken for 12 years I love it when they lose. I know he will love it with us in League 2 so hopefully our paths will cross as we get promoted and they get relegated.
Childish and immature but important to me.

I’ve never experienced a Villa v Cov game, so I’m indifferent to them. When Martin O’Neill was manager, and with a load of young English players, I actually liked them.

As for Leicester, I dislike them, but I was happy they won the league because it’s about time someone outside of the top 5 won the league!

But the teams I disliked the most growing up was probably, Birmingham or WBA. Local teams, I had friends who were bluenoses and played football with a few Baggies fans. So a natural rivalry for me.

On a personal level, Wolves.

I know they were big rivals anyway, especially in the 60's, but I worked with a Wolves fan for 20 years and all he ever talked about was how Wolves were the best team in the whole of Europe in the 1950's.

To top it all, he always used to say what a great goalkeeper he was. I kid you not, he was about 5' 3. 5'4 at the absolute tops.

Worst of all, he was my boss and no-one liked him or trusted him. He was a sneaky little shit and gained the nickname 'The Poison Dwarf.'

I have thoroughly disliked Wolves since and added to that was the fact I then went on to meet two Baggies supporters and they were great lads.

liverpool - seemed to win everything 70s/80s, plastic fans and genuine arrogance that they have some divine right to believe they should win everything
leeds- scruffy club and just horrible fans
Villa - enough said.
Forest - used to be a dirty away trip
MK Dons - never sat right when they moved.
Northampton - SISU etc.
Port Vale - not sure why
Sutton - still hurts
Split about Leicester - was genuinely nasty early 80s (don't remember occasions when so many got involved even normal fans) but don't remember it being so bad before that.; But a part of me still enjoyed their PL win because it was shafting the arrogant big boys of the PL.
