Have we progressed as a team then ?

I think so. He seems to have an idea of what he wants to do as a team and as a club which hopefully involves a bit of patience even if we're not shooting up the league, as panicking and hitting the reset switch is partly the reason we are where we are now.

Even if we don't make the play offs this season i'm happy to give Robins another season. It takes longer than a season to build a team. I know there will be some that will want him sacked at the end of the season. We all have different views and oppinions. There would be no fun if we all thought the same.

If Robins was in charge last season there's no way we'd be in League Two now, the fact he delayed the inevitable relegation as long as he did was way beyond my expectations.

I’m not saying I want him sacked at the same time though for me he has a way to go before i trumpet his stewardship. I am looking forward to the next couple of months, see how we play and yes where we finish. Top 7 is in our hands I still think he is or should I say has been too cautious. We must all remember we are in division 4.

Don't forget the ones that would want him sacked even if we're promoted. Mentioning no names but you know who you are

I would say he has added value to the team, we have a few saleable assets now which when he took over we only really had Jones so in monetary terms we are better, as we all know this is a shit league to get out of same as league 1 he has had 12 months in this his 2nd charge we won a cup with a relegated team we are still in with a shout this season of promotion and it's now March so the seeds have been sown and will hopefully blossom, I still think we will sadly fall short this season and hopefully he will build a team to really make a charge next season and the season after...time will tell but it appears atm he has halted the rot... So whats your point?

I’d say so. Did you watch us under Mowbray,Venus or Slade last season?
You mean just Venus and Slade, surely?

Mowbray was almost totally blameless, a foxy little minx and a living breathing godlike, divine deity, whose farts smelled of lavender, a rich onion gravy and golden sandy beaches.

Well according to certain parties ;)

Robins has done well. Inherited a squad with no confidence and little skill or back bone. He has made some good additions (not every player you sign will pay off) and if we can build and get a few more come the summer then we have a decent chance. We need a few more Doyles around the place to keep them on their toes and his experience is doing the youngsters good on and off the pitch.

And when Super Bakes comes in our fortunes will sky rocket.

It will be like introducing Lionel Messi to the Potters Green under 11's reserve team.
