I didn't think that was a pen. Didn't really see the handball but sounds like that should of been one.
I liked the look of the big fella, wouldn't mind him in our squad.
Better than that big fanny Wycombe have got.
Always been a handful.
Where did he start out, I have Crewe ,Watford and Plymouth whirring round my nut?

So the amount of people bitching, whining and moaning about how unfair it was that ST holders were given 4 tickets to MK Dons and how desperate people were to get tickets to go and how many were gutted to miss out. To every single one of those people, there were more than 20k empty seats in that stadium tonight, no problem getting a ticket. Where the fuck were You? If you were that desperate to go MK Dons but couldn't get tickets, tonight was far more important so where were You?????

Finished the first day of my masters in Manchester at 6. Getting to the station, 2.5 hour train back then getting to the Ricoh would probably mean I'd have seen a 1-1 draw as it turned out

Still on the train back home (ETA: 1.40am). First time travelling via the Arena station which meant I could get back into London for the last train back to B-right-on, despite some ballbag nicking bits of the track near Bedworth. North Warwickshire: Don’t do it kids

The same fans will be moaning like fuck that they can’t get a ticket for the Brighton game. Good FUCK erm.

Just because it’s fucking freezing cold on a Tuesday night, And we are playing shitty Cambridge, And only the hard core can be bothered to turn out and support the team.

Rant over. Good night

Are you a ST holder? Did you take 3 extra friends/family last night?

What a juvenile debate on crowds again.

I’m guessing that had we not won on Saturday the crowd would have been a thousand lower.

There is clearly a big challenge getting people back up to the Ricoh.

Don’t you just love the fan police?

160 round trip on a midweek night, not getting home until around midnight and up again at 6 (not a youngster anymore) means that I have to pick and choose my midweek games.

Will be at the Accrington game, possibly Brighton and also Wycombe away this month, coupled with other commitments means cash only goes so far.....

Buying an entertainment product is a choice not a responsibility. That’s the truth.

Have to agree, it’s weird for years as a STH I always used to get annoyed by ‘bandwagoners’ but last few years I realised I’m the ‘fool’ so many games I wouldn’t have gone to if it hadn’t been for my ST, this year I’ve been to a handful Home and away and I’ve enjoyed it far more having had a break and going when I want.

Massive credit to those that are still going up you are the hardcore, but digging out fans for not paying £20+ at the end in what feels like the the 3rd month of January is a shame. Be glad you’ve witnessed another win the biggest ‘losers’ are those of us that have sat through awful game, defeat after defeat but are missing out on win after win at home.

League two status and years of shit have taken its toll...difference in the past was a bigger hardcore etc, now the hardcore is smaller it’s going to be a much harder journey getting people back consistently that’s for sure.

The debate has been done time and time again. As a fan base we pick and choose our ‘big club’ status, on Saturday we looked masssssive but last night we didn’t.

bloke makes passionate plea for support for the team he cares passionately about on a forum dedicated to said team, you stick to wanking.

We all care CVD. It’s just no one should be made to feel guilty for not going. Who do people think they are by insinuating that if you went Saturday, you should’ve gone last night. Fuck off! (That last bit not aimed at you!).

People have a right to go or not go. It’s up to them and no one should be singled out for not going. A dickish thing to do in my eyes.

I’m always honest...I pick and choose my games as I live a 5hr round trip away. I’d never moan about lack of cash into the club though as I know I could go to more games.

I chose not to for a number of reasons although I would like to go more.

Like I said (and again not aimed at you), no one should be pointed out for picking and choosing games by those who are ‘lucky’ to be able to go to all, including the cold winter Tuesday night games. Kudos to them but don’t rant at the likes of me. Not on.

Because not everyone has the luxury of going to every game. I don’t but doesn’t mean I don’t want to, then people come on here bitching about low attendance. It fucks me off
I'm not on about people not going to every game. FFS, I'm a season ticket holder and nor even I can get to every fucking game! I'm on about the 5000 people who reckon they were desperate to see the city at MK Dons but unfairly couldn't get tickets because of season ticket holder. They could of got tickets piss easy for last night, so why didn't they?

There are a multitude of reasons why fans can't attend games.

Cost of games, travel, work, logistics, midweek, in L2 etc.

I've never understood why people start having a fit where the fans are. We're lucky to have any fans considering what has happened to this club over the last decade.

if accrington game beats yesterdays attendence it will prob cheap tickets work lol

Or it's at the weekend when more people can go as they're not working weekends....

To be fair to you...that price drop has incentivised me for two reasons:
1. A ticket price of £5 compared to £23 doesn't sound a lot in the grand scheme of things. But I need to spend £30 on petrol to get to a game and back at the Ricoh. That's before I think about a beer in the casino before the match, programme, parking, half time refreshments etc. £35 for travel and ticket is much better (for me personally) than £53.
2. I feel like the club are finally listening to fans with the promotions. We've asked for discounted tickets to drive attendances up. If I therefore didn't go, I'd feel bad.

I don't think anyone should be made to feel guilty for not going and I understand the myriad of reasons people don't.
But I also don't think that people shouldn't be made to feel guilty for being passionate or getting frustrated with the lack of support, (particularly just days a big FA cup turn out), on a CCFC fans forum but it happens far too often on here for my liking.

I personally wouldn't have posted what Patsy did but I can understand his frustration and if there is anywhere he should be able to vent that frustration it's on a Coventry City message board.

At work until 6 so would have arrived just after full-time. Coming up for the AS game though and looking forward to see a large crowd at the Ricoh
