Would we loan him to a 4th tier club though?
If we rated him enough to buy him the I'd have thought we'd be looking to loan him to someone in at least the 3rd tier.

The same reason your interested in Coventry City...He may be interested.

It's not down to whether he's interested or not. The club will loan him at a level where he will improve, he's already shown he's good enough for the 4th tier, time for him to play regularly at the next level.

Yes, I knew I’d need to give a few more clues!

I’d have described his position as a Makelele position. Was short in stature but very effective.

Nick may recall him as I think we both mentioned in the match thread how he ran the game. Might have been forest green?

Yes Forest Green. I couldn't tell if he had bleached hair or a shiny head reflecting the flood lights.

I think it was Drissa Traoré, he just sat in front of the defence and everything went through him.

Yes looked very classy, composed.... could play higher easily.

I’d like to see us look at players like Dembele of Grimsby - one of the trickiest players we’ve come up against this season attacking wise. Or that no.4 who ran the show at the Ricoh sitting just in front of the back line (can’t remember his name or who he played for. Shit reporter, I know!). January maybe too soon for someone like him though since we already have Kelly and Doyle sitting deep.
That Rose fella we came up against last week for Mansfield did look dangerous so if Robins was interested before, I’d like to see us go after someone in a similar mound (doubt we could prise him away from Mansfield in January anyway)

Is it just me or does there seem to be about 26 players playing in the UK with the surnames Dembele and Sissoko?!

Callum O'Reilly isn't get a much a of a look in at big spending Bury at after signing two year contract. Good young player imo. Great to get him in as cover for Doyle/Kelly as I'm not so sure have anyone to cover. But not sure if we got money for even a small fee.

We needed one out and out winger as it was, we now need two unless MR changes formation.

We also need a creative attacking midfielder i.e. an Andreu replacement.

In an ideal world we also get another striker, but I actually believe if we had at least ONE creative footballer in our team it would make a massive difference. Whether that be in a 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2.

I’d focus on two pacey wingers followed by a number 10.

I've found the solution!!!! This has been written in the stars since the summer... 3 initials! CBR!

If I'm not mistaken he played a lot on the right for leamington last season cutting inside? Powerful, quick, eye for goal and may be happy to "come home" on loan to save our season!

Courtney Baker-Richardson please come on down!

Hate to be the doom and gloom mercent here but there won’t be any new signings and Robins will have to do with what he has available. He went out and signed the vincentis and mcnultys and blew his budget. Unless he can off load these two that’s it!

So you're saying we won't sign anyone in January?

We probably will, if we free up wages by offloading others.
I doubt there will be a net gain in number of players.
