So what do you think he is earning at Motherwell then?

Go on please tell.
I think they have a squad of players some young ones on £500 ish a week and some on £3000 ish a week ,
I really think he was on a very low contract at city ,

I wish him well, he will do ok in that league. Average players from league one and two and nobody's from the national league too make good careers up there so he will too.

Wasn't hopeful of him staying with the agent he's got and the love for the city nonsense along with the pointless windmill impressions to attempt to gee the rest around him up giving more of a gesture for the crowd to see his "trying"

Had a blinder on a nice big pitch at Wembley but failed to do anything to note in his first 23 league games this season. Picked up a bit of form since Robins arrived but like many underperformed to what you'd expect of then.
Too inconsistent unfortunately for my liking but good luck to him.

Maybe 6 times was over the top but I truly think if all he is getting is £1 k a week in Scotland he would have stayed with us ,
Do you not agree ? Surely we would have offered him that amount ...

I genuinely feel a bit sorry for you... I don't think I've seen many posts by you where you weren't arguing with someone or being negative. You must be quite sad inside. It's Friday, go and have a few beers mate

I imagined he did a nerdy type snort as typed that...

The main attraction has to be the local derby with Hamilton Accies, especially now our closest rival is Lands End FC or whatever

His agent will have been hawking him around for months.

Motherwell is a bit random though.

My thoughts too. What happened to settling down with his new family? Now upping sticks to Scotland? Not exactly up the road is it!
What's Courtney Baker-Richardson up to? Don't he have the same agent? I'd not be surprised to see him up there too just like Louis Moult did after a average spell in the conference with Wrexham.

That's definitely how it read to me too. But he's explained it now so you must have missed the point.

In all honesty this is shaping up quite well. We've 6 new players through the door, 3 resigned and only 1 to walk away by the 2nd June.
Surely this is ideal if you was MR and TW, the squad is taking shape and players are deciding there futures quite quickly.

So now MR and TW can move on to there 1st choice targets, or 2nd....

Am I right in thinking it's only Ryan Haynes and George Thomas to decide now and Stuart Beavon, Jordan Turnbull to say what there plans are too and if they will be activating there clauses?

so we now need another centre midfiedler

doyle
kelly
stevenson

we dont want to be relying on academy prospects in league 2

not just a destroyer. someone who can spray the ball around too may be required.

oh ffs bigi, you ticked both boxes near end of season.

I think it's more a minimum of 2 as if the money's right Stevenson will be gone.
We need some more forward minded midfielders who can get about the pitch well.

Fair play to him, loyalty and love does not pays his bills or look after his family. I don't care how much he has made in the past that will not of effected his decision. He is getting the going rate and signed to better his bank balance. I thought he was a decent player and would of done more than a job in L2, i am sure he will not be the only one out he door so all the signings for me will only be judged when i see what the complete starting squad looks like.

Good luck to the lad, no malice and for those lucky enough to watch him a Wembley should remember what a massive part he played in giving fans a great day out.

I'm sure MR and TW are on it, come mid to late august we will be supplemented by loans to bulk and fill any gaps we've been unable to address with suitable players worth a 2 year deal.
Still plenty of questions unanswered with formations and if George Thomas is staying, Beavon and Reid to shape the squad around

thing i am gutted about is hes a player we could have used both in league 2 and league 1 as he is more than good enough for both leagues imo

p.s we always ask for players with passion yet when someone displays it we call it pointless and gesturing to the fans. weird.

Bit surprised, good riddance to him. Would have loved him to succeed after we showed faith in him when his career was dead in the water, shame he didnt repay us fans by staying.

2 seasons, 2 relegations as a permanent Coventry player. The bigirmana legacy.

He's the ability to do it for sure no questions about that, on his day tho... trouble was his day wasn't a regular Saturday afternoon at 3pm. Turns out he really liked Sundays basking in the sun on a lush bowling green of a pitch.

Passion and pride is great if it actually rubs off on those around you. If those around you look at you and think well your only having a average game yourself.... step your own game up and we will be fine...

A more natural leader who don't need to windmill, just a shout of the name, a look in their eye, clenched fist and a come on does that.
It's that natural respect for those asking you to up your game to there standards ther are producing weekly.

Why do fans assume loyalty plays any part in contracts, they are doing a job and want to make as much as they can while able too, as we all do in our daily life. Also what we offered in wages were obviously not as much or as good in add ons as that what Motherwell offered, even with the relocation in play.

In football i don't look for morals, hero's or role models they are the just doing a job and would move if the money gives them stability after they finish. Unless you are of a certain age these things will bother you, if you are older its all business and most should understand and not get worked up over the reality of the game today.

you ar eobssesed with manly men. maybe its why you like me so much.

bigi was awesome under robins. not just good, not just improved but awesome.

will never judge any player under slade. and before that i think it was more about bigi gettng match sharpness back and consistency

its a big loss imo and i just hope robins can replace him well.
