Great win, great performance, fantastic support. See you next season at Crewe again, looking forward to it but is it true you lot really hate us now as I've heard elsewhere?

Thank you very much, but why would we hate you?

You played to your strengths the other year and got to to the JPT final, fair play.

I think you were referred to as a bogey team, but then we got over that and the last time we played you hammered you 5-0 IIRC?

You're a bit of a bogey team for us especially at Gresty Road!! (Apart from last time ive) I've seen us lose 6 out of 6 in the league there!!

Good away day location wise!

See you next year!

I think some of our fans hate every team in the hope they'll hate us back

To date, only Sunderland and now Sheffield United have taken the bait :D

I don't have too much of an issue with Crewe.

You guys do some smashing chips pre match!

I've seen us win there. Laurent Delorge scored a brace in a 6-1 win? Hughes hat trick?

I agree about chips. One the way down from Manchester somewhere, had a change at Crewe and time to stop off at chip shop based on previous visit.

Not totally sure on Blake's reasoning for posting. Crewe are a bogey team for Sky Blues but no malice from us towards you.

We have bigger fish to fry, pun intended.

Seriously no issue with Crewe.

To be fair, the guys on your forum have come out with an awful lot of vitriol against us, along the lines of us being rent-dodgers with aim of flouting of the FPP rules and the like, choosing to contrast us with the model running of a football club i.e. crewe. Always seemed like a small-club mentality tbh, living in the shadows of others, and something I've not seen on the boards of similar sized clubs other than Walsall. So, no, I don't like Crewe, which is a wholly ridiculous and childish stance since, like football supporters everywhere, you'd get on with 95% of them over a pint.

Thanks. Appreciate your kind thoughts. It was probably just frustration of a few over missing out on previous EFL Trophy final

All teams have some idiotic supporters. Get a few of them together and it seems like the majority are.

I normally get the chance to mingle with our opponents supporters. I very rarely have a problem. I even occasionally go in the home end at an away game. Getting together is what it is all about. At the end of the day we are the same other than the colour we wear.

Thank you. No we don't hate you, you are just a bit of a bogey team.

Personally, I've always admired how your club operates, producing young talent, always trying to play football in the right way, etc.

See you next season!

Cheers! I still can't believe you beat us 1.0 in that FA Cup game at Highfield Road...Clayton Ince put in a blinder that day.

Weren't Crewe very supportive of us last season when that young lad died in the first game of the season? Even had a banner of support I think. Couldn't hate proper fans like that. Sheffield united however...

Don't think I've heard anyone say they hate Crewe. Aside from all the usuals, I hate Sheffield Utd.

Still bitching and whining like little girls about a game they won in December and of course, Carlos Tevez. There's large amounts their middle age SU fans on Twitter on family holidays in full kits...suggesting they should be on some form of a register...

I dont't hate anyone either apart from maybe Mumford and Sons, Not the individual members in their own right, that would be unreasonable , just when they get together and make "music"

I missed a home game against Crewe when my son was born (28.12.2005). Think we drew and did Michael Doyle get sent off?

Loved there first album but the follow up was a massive cop out, it was just a carbon copy of the first with different words.
For that I dislike them also.
As for Crewe , don't mind them at all , and we used to have a decent record against them. Good set of fans, nice little ground ,decent pubs and really nice chips , plus it's superb for train spotting, what more would you want for an away day
As for Sheffield United and bloody Sunderland, now that's hate

No probs with Crewe, well run family club who seemed to have the hoodoo over us for a while. Sheff Utd now THAT IS HATE, i received a right good kickin after we scored against them. I put a pick on here on the match thread. For those of you who asked how i got on, spent 3 days in hospital as i was struggling to breath. Bastards never got found. Watched the Checkatrade Cup Final at home, had a free ticket for the Final but never went. Mentally struggling watching games in public now and the Mrs wants none of it. First post on here since as i wanted Crewe Poster to know we have no probs with them, better than winding them up and someone else gets done over.
