Just had a nice two hour drive to Manchester after the game tonight and plenty of time to think back on the match and experience.

I was in Block 1 and sat a couple of seats up from me was another fella on his own. When the first goal went in we were both jumping round like kids together.

The match was probably the most my nerves have ever been tested at a match but the work rate and desire of the team was great. Not everyone was great (looking at you Tudgay) but by and large, we were ok and better than some of the write ups I've seen on here. Special mentions to DKE, Thomas, Turnbull and Beavon who all had great games.

On Beavon, did anyone see the BBC write up on the match? Sure it was a picture of Thomas with a caption of 'Beavon has scored 3 in 19 for Coventry this season'. Dicks.

Anyway, I was quite emotional after the match. Over 30 years of supporting garbage and for once, we can have our day in the sun. Win or lose, it's a chance for all Sky Blues to come together. A once in a generation opportunity. Let's put divisions, relegation, in house fighting and the off field issues to one side on that day.

Let's pack out Wembley, deck it out Sky Blue, sing our hearts out and cheer the boys to a trophy as well as putting ourselves positively in the shop window.

Goodnight fellow SBT'ers,

WM

Coventry City Fans are the best in the land. Anyone who puts up with years and years of abject shit, deserves this visit to Wembley. A Wembley Stadium full of Sky Blue would clearly send a message to any potential new owners, that CCFC is worth investing in. I also hope, that last nights win will be the shot in the arm needed to turn our league form around.
Also, it would be nice, if our current owners came out and said how proud they are to reach Wembley. Wonder if we will see JS in the directors box at Wembley (doubt it).
Anyway, big congrats to all the players for giving me back a bit of pride and hope for the future. To our current generation of fans post 87. Enjoy your day out, it will be an unbelievable experience and we will win I am sure of that.

Fellow Manc,
Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the effort and faith you put into going.

We need to support team in final but also
demostrate against SISU as well. Getting rid of SISU is the most important thing. All other things are possible after that.
