Not sure why it is bang out of order, SISU aren't going to pay fines. People knew there would be fines and that the club would have to pay them.

The point being that Willis or Stevenson (if not both of them) will probably be going in January anyway regardless of whether there was a pitch invasion or not. It's a cheap shot and bang out of order because he's taken the prospect of something that is going to happen anyway (so long as a bid comes in, unless you want us to believe that the only reason a bid comes in is because of the pitch invasion as well) and used it to blame the fans. Cheap cheap shot.

But Sisu aren't interested in the football club are they? It was only ever a vehicle for their property ambitions and due to their greed and stupidity, those ambitions are done for. All that's left is to asset strip the training ground and liquidate the club. That's what they are now doing and Fisher's job is to pretend otherwise until the job's done. This is how hedge funds behave and I don't know why anyone expects anything else.

I'm not talking about SISU, they are leaving the club as break even and to run it's self as self contained.

I am talking about CCFC then making the most out of being break even and sorting their communication shambles out. It doesn't cost a fortune to implement some basic customer service and customer satisfaction.

Jimmy confirmed of course. He wanted a bigger busget

I do wonder who will accept this job. Looks like they have someone lined up

The only thing that really alarmed me was Fisher's response to the question about the negotiations regarding extended tenancy at the Ricoh. No negotiations so far, but the F.A. are "laid back" about it .
I read that to mean we can always go back to Sixfields.

he needs to come out and say exactly how they plan to increase revenues going forward to help with being break even. It's all well and good keep saying what we don't get, he needs to start thinking about how they can use the ccfc brand to start making more money for the club. It needs some great marketing, some decent PR and starting from the bottom up with fans.

Think they just advertised for this very position didn't they!

Exactly.

I know things can't be personal for thousands of people, but every caller tonight should have had a call back.

"If you want to pop down to Ryton I am happy to have a chat with you and explain. You may not fully agree but I am happy to give you the time to try and explain to you about this model and what we need to do, you can have a cup of tea and you might catch 5 or 10 minutes of training".

That's still doing break even, it is effectively doing what Fisher did with the phone in but it means those 5 or 6 people phoning up see that people are trying. They then tell their mates and it kills some of the toxity.
i like the concept but when the message is clearly "if I don't have your income I will just cut costs" it's a slightly risky strategy to further engage with "customers".

text "what message to next generation, as struggle to keep 2 kids interested"
TF "We try and uplift people, I keep saying it, important you get behind the footballers. Last night the players looked confused"
That's down to tactics and wrong formations.

I hate the fact I've got a season ticket, if I don't go to another game it won't make a blind bit of difference to them. They've got my money and that's all I am to Fisher/SISU. Absolutley nothing he has said over the past 24 hours has made me think we are heading down the leagues, fast.

Yep which is why not owning our own stadium is hamstringing the club.

That's what I mean.

The same thing done differently would have a different outcome.

Who knows, it may even make them profit they can pocket or even more attractive to buyers.

CA looked at it all and clearly decided Ling term at the Ricoh is the only option. Wasps effectively said drop the pointless legal action you won win. SISU said no CA realised there was no other option and left.So what can you do that he can no TF?

I can assure you, CA didn't think the Ricoh was the best option...

She will probably say find it somehow then, the same as she will if the season tickets go down etc etc.

Then comes a point when she says what the hell are we doing?? She's not making any money out of CCFC then why own it?

There is no way in a million years she will get a return based on how things are run, CCFC is a vehicle for what to Sisu?

Agreed, but he said at the time that Championship clubs pipped us. He should have looked at more realistic targets.

What would that have changed? It has now become apparent that we have a wrong end of the league budget so had he gone after players in a right end of the table budget we still wouldn't have got them either. The players we've ended up with reflects our budget and that reflects in our league position. We've got our "realistic targets" and it's paying dividends.

Something has just dawned on me. We were at a loss of 1.7 mill last season so sold Maddison. That meant a £1.5 mill profit overall. If the club are running on an even basis now then surely the £1.5 mill profit from last season could be free to use surely?

No, he could do what Barnsley crow about. They shop at Non League level. I would rather have had some Non Leaguers who we owned than Wright, Sterry, Kwame Thomas, etc. If you have a budget you look in the right place to suit, not the PL and Championship as he said he was, it is obvious those are going to want higher wages.

I feel sorry for fisher in a way. It's not exactly his choice to do what he's doing with the low budget etc. He's doing what has been asked of him. It's just his job. Even if he did resign, the next guy would be doing the same

Apparently it's not a job. It's all for the love don't you know!

are you saying it was the wrong thing to do ?
I don't think that's what he's saying, do you? More like we knew that would be the likely consequence, and that as fans we said that was acceptable for the benefit the the cause of highlighting our circumstance. We can't then moan about it after the event.

Haven't seen it but Keys was on TalkSport again today saying he knows people that would invest and basically rubbishing Fisher's earlier interview.
I'm not normally a fan of doing business in public but in this instance I think its a necessity. If Keys really does know of someone waiting in the wings they need to make it public. The pressure on Fisher will increase massively if everyone knows there is a viable alternative.

Shoot me down in flames, but he didn't even blink at the 'ever decreasing fan base - and income, resulting in us going into Northern conference or wherever. Just kept threatening the 'I'll cut the playing squad' if fans don't come back. Offered no hope. Thought the Cov rugby lot being frightened off by last night's events was laughable. Shouted at the radio in my car !
Oh, that was you was it! I nearly dropped my mobile phone as I was driving past you.

The boycott is happening anyway. People have had enough. It does seem that break even is all. When Clive mentioned " even if this means playing in National North" he didn't disagree. I wish that Clive had pressed him on this. At what point would they then let the club go? When we drop out of the pyramid altogether, playing on a park pitch with one man and his dog watching?
And the one man and his dog will be Tim Fisher and Roxie.

Really? What non league players did Barnsley sign for their first team over the summer transfer window?

Ive been saying that for ages. TM messed up the recruitment in the summer.
You've also been saying we had a top 6 budget. No wonder TM resigned. He failed like every other manager for the past 9!years has failed. The constant in all of this is Sisu. Maybe Fisher lied and we actually do have a top 6 budget? Don't think so, probably one of the few true things he said.

You must have me mixed up with someone else. I've never said what budget we have, top six or not
