Burge - 5
Kelly Evans - 6
Willis - 5
Turnbull - 4
Page - 6
Bigirimana - 5
Stevenson - 7 (excluding the sending off)
Rose - 5
Reid - 5
Jones - 5
Tudgay - 4

Subs failed to make an impact probably due to the sending off. Jones and Reid flatter to deceive, our centre half partnership is dreadful and our loan striker is constantly isolated due to the system.

A few harsh scores there, even for MK Dons I thought Bowditch and Caruthers (sp?) Were 2 of their better players. Couclough was class when he came on.

Agree with a lot of that.

Rose 6
Bigi 5
Stevenson 6.5

Reid 5
Jones 5

Tudgay 4

Reid and Jones were great until they got to the penalty box and were then totally clueless and Bigi annoys the hell out of me. Does some great stuff, but then always has to have it laced with some poor passing, poor decision making and absolutely dire set piece taking.

For God's sake please give the set piece duties to someone else.

Burge 4 poor all round display in comparison to being very good lately
Page 6
Turnbull 4 poor and probably at fault for both goals
Willis 5 has to do so much more Work because turnbull is so poor. otherwise would have been a 6 or 7 if he could get on with his own thing
Dke 6 his Best game for City, could have got closer for the first goal but had that big winger in his pocket for most of the game
Reid 7 did great for an hour, constant threat but faded and would probably have been subbed off
Jones 6 still flatters to deceive,,so very one footed, but put in 2 right footed crosses early on that were probably our Best chances
Stevenson 7 up until the red, which I though was harsh
Bigi 7 had a lot to do today especially after rose went off
Rose 7 was running the show until injury
Tudgay 3 legs have gone. did the things he was meant to do when we hit it Long to him, but forgot that HE has to get in the box seeing that he is our only striker. how many times was he just stopped on the Wing or way outside the box when our wingers were heading into it at pace.
Probably the worst performance from a City player this season, rubbish.

Turning point of the game was obviously the red, we wouldn't have lost that game if it was 11 a side.
We weren't as bad as people are making out and probably would have won.
The problem is a striker and a central defender, and quite possibly a manager
I'm happy with the middle,,we have injuries at the Moment, all teams get them
Even with this squad, at full strength we have enough to get to the play offs, a new manager would guarantee it.

Interesting point, we had 10 of our own players playing yesterday, and we were okay ,Stokes in instead of turnbull and we would be 100% more solid at the back
The last 4 games have been strange as
Could have beat Scunthorpe Bolton and Don's with a bit of luck and a striker, we only played badly against Oxford first half

Margins are so tight right now and we are clearly suffering with injuries
Still expecting the very same team to do better after Xmas with injuries clearing up

Tudgay shouldn't be allowed to put the shirt on. He contributed nothing.

I thought McBean did well when he came on, he was winning flicks and headers but no one was running on to them.

Stokes will be a real plus. Rose looks like he is made of glass and will be in and out of the team. Thomas who knows and McCann will go back.

In short, we will be roughly where we are today with the hopeful addition of a fully fit Stokes.

We need to recruit

Tudgay needs putting out to pasture. He can hold the ball up, but has no pace left in him at all and his legs pretty much look like they have gone.

He shows no composure or killer instinct in front of goal and if you are going to play one up front like that (Jones and Reid were pretty much playing like wingers, despite the call that it was 433) then that player has to have some degree of pace about him.

That is my most major point we made the decision to keep Tudguy - doesnt look the greatest decision given formation we are playing.
He would be good I think in a front two with Sordell however he is not the answer if we play one up top for sure....but don't think anyone is tbh Sordell?
With our squad make up we should be playing two up top with two wingers/wide men!

Agreed, I think Tudgay made the kind of movements you'd expect a second striker to make - he goes backwards into the space. That only works if you've got an advanced striker making the bolder runs to provide a threat in the penalty area - didn't have that yesterday.

I don't deride Tudguy like some on here and at the match.
Some people don't notice when he makes a run and takes two defenders with him leaving space for others.

Having said that I understand peoples' frustration. He isn't good for 90 min (nor is Agyei) and doesn't get into the box enough. I agree he plays too deep for a lone striker and if we can see that why can't the manager?

Someone said Mcbean done well? He touched the ball 3 times and every time it went to their player, that guy is fucking shocking.

I have to agree that people are very generous regarding McBean - whatever the views on Tudgay it's very clear he's a player whose been a professional for a long time.

McBean is the new Graham Withey - he looked like he'd won a prize and was from the crowd and allowed to play as that was the prize.

Burge- 4 slow can't kick and falls in slow motion.

Dke 6 did ok until 60ish minutes then he got ruined by the right winger.

Turnbull 4 can't see what he offers that Martin couldn't do.

Willis 6 hard to play well when your covering for turnbull all the time.

Page 6 solid at the back, limited going forward

Jones 4 ok for the first 30 minutes then was useless. Waste of a attacking player

Rose- 5 hard to mark due to injury

Stevenson- 7 felt sorry for the lad played well he's just like ronseal.

Bigi- 3 how he has got motm for the last two home games boggles me!

Reid- 5 great first half fades so quickly tho

Tudguy-5 feel for him does a lot of team running but isn't a lone striker.

Maycock- 5 very similar to Stevenson, was shafted by the sending off

Mcbean 4 had high hopes, hopefully plays better soon.

Ruben-4 was the wrong player to bring on, needed power
