Hahahahahaha you're shit hot at this reply game.

I think SBK just see's you for what you are son.

With regard to the architect bit. Firstly i didn't call myself one. Secondly, part of my job was deciphering architects drawings and during the course of my 16 years as a building surveyor, I had to also do my fare share of architectural drawings and specifications on jobs. This gave me a great insight into how a architect works but because I am also a builder (I now own a building company) I have the common sense and practicality that architects don't and can see when things on paper sometimes don't work in practise. Now with regard to your pathetic quip about me being a doctor, funny you should say that because I diagnosed you pretty quickly didn't I paperboy.

You said you had "dabbled in architecture", why are you back tracking now?

What do you mean by calling me 'paperboy' - who do you think I am?

You really are a delusional fool.

Is anyone else interested in starting a protest group to campaign for CCFC to stay at the Ricoh??

Who's it aimed at? Are we talking long term forever, or short/medium term after this deal expires?

Surveying and achitecture go hand in hand the thick numpty! and the only one with delusions is you my friend!

I realise this post was in response to Frankly but I think you are a little mistaken. I have experience in Town Planning and Chartered Surveying but not architecture. I have friends who are quantity surveyors and have no architecture experience, and I know a building surveyor who has no real architecture experience. It depends what type of Surveyor you are talking about. Some do, some don't, it isn't a given though.

Aimed at all parties concerned;
1 - encourage SISU to sign a long term rent deal at the Ricoh on the best possible terms
2 - Wasps...encourage them do offer SISU the deal described at 1, above
3 - encourage the Council to refuse any planning permission for any other site in the city on the grounds that a suitable stadium already exists and available sites should be prioritized for other needs like housing and businesses, plus whatever planninig rules can be leveraged to prevent a move especially to the Butts
4 - encourage the FL to refuse permission for us to have a second exile, on the grounds that there is no justification for leaving the city of Coventry
5 - encourage the FA to back up the FL in regard to point 4, above
6 - campaign for all other councils surrounding the Cov area to refuse to contemplate a site, on similar grounds as proposed at point 3.

Damned if they speak , damned if they dont?
Well yeah!
They are damned by their actions, whether they see fit to speak about those
Actions or not is largely irelavent.
Their actions and their decisions have crippled this club to such an extent that
Most supporters have given up hope.

Nice of him to point out the Sixfields season was a success though. :bag:

Do you answer 'The Gentleman's' posts for him, are you related?

Perhaps you should do some research, you can't just call yourself an architect.

You really are a fool.

I think you are rather foolish. You freely admit you have no knowledge of building or architecture, probably don't understand the different building disciplines and you are picking an argument with people with knowledge on these topics. Why not concentrate on the real issue, the complete absence of a feasible strategy to take the club forward while it looks like it is being asset stripped.

Why don't you ever answer questions when they are put to you?

So wait a minute there are people on this site claiming that BPA wont work due to planning issues, yet I suspect they don't have any planning experience or qualifications, and there are those that disagree. Are you saying no one should comment unless they have relevant work experience or a qualification in the required field?

I suspect it could work, but then that's from my planning experience,

Read back. Anyway no submission has been made, unless something is submitted then nothing is happening. If you read Les Reid's latest pile of crap you'll realise the thing Fisher made up about a 'political embargo' is being used by SISU as an excuse to inaction. As usual someone else is being blamed for SISU's failure to achieve the goals needed by the football club..

Oh dear, read my posts again Frankley and you might want to re-think that last bit.

Now I don't where you get back tracking from but I can put it again in capitols if you're really struggling but I'll try one last time. In my second post I said that I had done architectural drawings and specifications for jobs. Now I know you said you were a layperson (which has shown you actually know fuck all) but that would equate to dabbling in it and not being an architect full time as that is 2 parts of what an architect undertakes. I have also been involved projects at the design stage which is also something an architect will. Now I can go on making you look a tit or you can just keep doing the great job you currently are. Talking about great jobs........have you shined your awards yet?

The only thing that is bankrupt is your morality. A ccfc forum and all you do is spout ccfc hating drivel.

Re the read back, it appeared to me you were suggesting Frankly shouldn't comment, as he had no experience in the field. If that were the case then I think its wrong as there are lots of experts on nothing on this site and it doesn't stop them posting. If I was wrong, I misunderstood.

Re Les Reads article, I don't tend to read him nor Gilbert. Its trash all round.

I know SISUs failures, but a ground near the City centre, and the dream of it one day sold with the club by SISU, why not? If I didn't dream of them going I would have given up a long time ago.

If only, I just so mistrust Tim & SISU that I don't find it worthwhile dreaming about it. Realistically I think Cov will develop something smaller, around 5K with residential, hotel & retail units to assist their commercial activities and SISU will not be involved. What is actually happening won't become clear till a planning application is made.

Is an assumption being made that only the current site of the BPA would be available? If the project involved some, or even all, of the land bounded by the railway line, Spon End and Butts Road you'd be looking at a much bigger site.

If, and its a big if, it were ever built and it caused SISU to fuck off, then I would welcome it.
I do not see how SISU building a new stadium at BPA could be the cause of SISU fucking off. Not saying you're wrong mate don't see the logic to that one!

If it really could work, I'd kill for a city centre ground.
If everyone thinks it is impossible then I'd go for the calling their bluff approach. Get the trust right behind it, get the council saying they will do what they can to help and then everyone ask Fisher and Sharp to show the plans and how it will be funded.

Don't give them ideas. Best thing we could do is sign up for 30-40 years at the Ricoh.

My view is we have to take SISU out the equation. If we restrict ourselves to just the Ricoh as an option then we go back to the wilfully created monopoly position that saw the club knobbled when the ground was built - why repeat the past?

Philosophically, a city centre ground would be better anyway, as far as I'm concerned.

Now... as it's our current owners mooting it I'd agree that it's not worth running into with open arms atm (funny how we've gained 10k capacity on it since it first came out - could be that they've listened or it could be that it's... bollocks) but I'd also suggest if (if!) it were actually possible, it absolutely *has* to be one of the options available for any future owners.

But while they can still bang on about moving to the Butts they don't have to sign up to a long term deal. Call their bluff and when it all falls apart then even the FL won't be able to give one of their exceptions as it will have been shown they can't deliver.

Given how long we've been putting up with them it wouldn't take long. They must already have plans, or at least an outline, for Fisher to be giving the details he is (if its true of course) so as soon as people, particularly the council, start backing the clubs move to the Butts the sooner he will need to show his hand.

Yes. Sisu's most unforgivable sin was unilaterally and shamelessly tearing up the lease.

What details?? If your second sentence above is right then there is no basis for the club's supposed sincerity in seriously planning to move to the BPA?
