So, we've got Norwich City in the 2nd round of the EFL Cup. A pretty big team and a nice little away day. But now Tony Mowbray has a decision to make. Play the kids and give them some much needed experience at the expense of a possible win, or field a strong 11 but risk burning out your players. What do we think Mogga should do? Play the kids or play a full strength side?

I thought the rules has been changed and you now have to field a large percentage of first team players but if not id play the kids

I think it very much depends who signs in the next 2 weeks. It might be an opportunity for new first team players to gel or get match fitness. But equally a chance to rest players like WIllis or Ricketts who have been forced to play through knocks or more than they would have with a larger squad.

With our budget every cup game is important as we need the extra revenue it can bring.

With our small squad, injuries, suspensions, fatigue, a lot of Mowbrays decisions might be made for him.

Yes this cup isn't important as our league games.

Play a lot of kids as will Norwich IMO and give it a go but if not and we lose. Who cares?

So let's not risk major injuries in a pointless game in truth.

Make as many changes as is allowed. Helping the bigger teams with 'seeding' and making a cup run more difficult for smaller teams, we should treat the competition with the contempt it deserves.

The draw was so stupid just have a proper draw and if Liverpool get Chelsea then bad luck

You could probably persuade the FA that our first team squad are kids lol! It does make me laugh how they can impose this rule so early in the season, where a lot of teams will chop and change their starting 11 anyway, to get the balance right.

It's not a "proper" cup worth winning anyway :D
