Fair play if we're getting a bit of decent money for it. I just don't like how the logo looks and think it ruined the home shirt a bit this year. The Stat sports logo on the away shirt looked so smart where as the allsop and allsop just seems like it's bit ironed on and would come after a few washes

Good if they are sticking with us and it's a fair amount. At least the dark blue colour goes well on sky blue.

I went to school with them. Had this type of thread when they first signed up. The set up base in Dubai, made their name and have recently set up places in Leam and Cov.

Dubai and the Arab world in general will fall to pieces as soon as the oil dries up.

I'll give it 10 more years of relative prosperity followed by 20 years of struggle to build an organic economy as the developed world turns to solar/nuclear/wind power & efficient electricity storage and transport, followed by a return to nothing much, their only hope is to turn to solar power ASAP.

I've lived in the middle east and the locals do virtually nothing, all their expertise is imported from Europe, India and the Far East.

In one of the biggest kit sponsorship deals in a number of years, the Sky Blues have once again teamed up with the property leaders...

Allsopp & Allsopp, the international property agency with offices in Coventry, Leamington Spa and Dubai, have secured a new two-year deal to sponsor Coventry City’s shirts.

The firm, who opened its doors for business in 2008 now employ over 130 members of staff across all three offices, launched its third office in Leamington Spa in 2015. Allsopp & Allsopp were the home kit sponsor for the past two seasons, but have now signed a new two-year deal for the upcoming 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons.

The new deal is a multi-year six-figure sum agreement and represents the most significant shirt sponsorship deal for the Sky Blues in a number of years. The deal now includes the Coventry City away shirt for first-team games as well as the Under-21 home and away shirts with the logo appearing on all retail shirts.

The Sky Blues 8th place finish last season represents the club's highest league finish since 2005/06 and the success of the team has yielded a 34% increase in attendance at the Ricoh Arena.

Allsopp & Allsopp is run by Coventry-born and ex-Caludon Castle School, brothers Carl and Lewis Allsopp and while the firm has won over 20 different international property awards for its work in the UAE, the pair are firmly rooted in the fabric of the city.

Managing Director Carl said: "We're delighted we've secured another two seasons with our logo on the Coventry City shirt. There are two reasons. One, we love Coventry City. It's our club and it's a huge honour to support it in this way, seeing the family name and company logo on the front of the shirt makes us incredibly proud.

"Two, it has helped us raise our profile in the city dramatically. It reinforces the fact that we're one of the leading property businesses in the area. We have to say thank you to many Sky Blues fans who have bought and sold through Allsopp & Allsopp since opening in Coventry and Leamington Spa which has enabled us to become a driving force in the city, all because of our association with the football club.

CEO Lewis said: “We’ve seen value in having the shirt displayed in our Dubai head office as well. Clients from around the world see the shirt displayed and not only is it a great conversation starter, but some of our clients again from different parts of the world have started keeping an eye on Coventry City’s scoreline each week because of the relationship we have developed with them, which is fascinating. I'm sure City supporters can't wait to see the new kit designs."

Carl Allsopp went on to say: "Whilst we were disappointed with the way we fell away, as a business, we look for year-on-year growth which we have seen this year with Coventry City, I'm sure Tony Mowbray and his staff will continue that progress next season."

Chris Anderson, Executive Vice Chairman of Coventry City Football Club, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Allsopp & Allsopp. Their continued sponsorship represents a great show of faith in the club from a local, Coventry-based business.

“Coventry City FC is committed to working alongside local companies and businesses to help the Sky Blues' vision grow. Allsopp & Allsopp have been a highly valued partner of the football club. They are proving to be hugely successful in the city and we will strive to match that success on the pitch over the course of next season!”
