It's wonderful to see him doing such a grand job at Fleetwood Town, playing amazing football with heart and passion, I mean some would call it the Fleetwood way!!
Next year the Fleetwood chairman feels the squad he has is more than capable of finishing in the top 3rd of division 1 next season. I mean I have no doubt that Pressley is the man for the job. Hats of to the guy, absolute class.

Wow you must have a fun life, ripping into somebody who is irrelevant to the club any more. Especially considering you are only doing so because they are losing to Walsall, a team we took 1 point off this season. Move on already

They aren't down yet are they?
Nah they will probably stay up tbf by the skin of there teeth, they play Crewe at home next week and only need a point to guarantee staying up.

Then we can all say what an amazing job he has done in keeping them up by taking a team who finished 10th last season to the brink of relegation.

Remarkable consistency.

Harsh. Not the manager for us, but a genuine nice guy.

He deserves a bit of credit. When he took over the attitude of some players stank. So he ruffled a few feathers of the over paid and pampered....well done that man, it needed doing for a long time at City.

Give your heads a wobble you fruit cakes . pressley is to football management , as to what Donald Trump is to politics.

Really? When he took over we had been flying before he arrived under Robins.

Please show me your thread about Mark Robins before he was sacked? Oh wait their isn't one because clearly, you are only making this point, due to a hatred towards someone who gave everything for this club. Even if he didn't do as well as hoped, the thread is irrelevant as it does not affect us. But no of course, I am probably wrong, and will bow down to your superior intelligence, of mocking people, when they do badly and hoping that they never succeed. Grow up, he hasn't even had a full season at the club. He hasn't had any chance barring January (when he still relied on freebies and loans) to bring in his own players. So you can't judge his ability as a manager on that.

Exactly, now is as good as its ever going to get for Fleetwood under Pressley. Only downhill once he starts bringing in his own players.

Fleetwood should count themselves lucky that they haven't been treated to Shaun Miller, Danny Swanson and Andy Webster yet.

I don't remember praising him. I was always quite critical of his transfer record.
His ransfer record?
Did he bring any of them in?
Did well at Shitfields did all the dirty work for our owners then was paid off with the sack.............

Except for the fact, he didn't have any control over the transfer budget and how it was spent? I agree majority of his signings were poor. However i am sceptical of how much choice he got. I believe, he gave a list to SW and said who he wanted. SW then came back with a list of cheaper and shitter players, and said pick one that you want.

Never sure why the mantra that he kept us up despite a ten point deduction goes unchallenged. That was quite a good set of players who needed to finish the season ten points above the relegation zone, and did. I would have fancied my chances of keeping that squad up.

Well that's your opinion, I believe he did have control over which players he brought in.

SP was unable to bring in any players that summer. It was dangerously thin. He has one CB at the the start of the season in Webster. Moussa was not a 15 goal a season midfielder before that season, with no evidence to suggest that he was going to be. Wilson had made something around 10 starts in his whole life, before that season scoring once.

Yes it was an achievement, and it is all good you saying, "I would have fancied my chances", but in actual fact he got the best out of his players with limited resources at the time. He did a great job that season. Which is why some people appreciate what he did for this club. Yes last season was awful, worst football I have ever seen us play. But I still think he deserves respect.

Strange. They had brought in a few players I think as well?

Somebody on here's relative has just signed for them, he will know ;)

I think they have a Technical Director or some such who oversees
May have been a conflict there?
