Only time will tell but the other 2 have made little impact , so no not for me I am afraid.

I get the feeling there is some free loading going on.
The only one that worries me is lorentzson, and that's only because he apparently got injured in his first training session, and there appears to be no information coming out about his injury. TM did say somewhere that he was pushed too hard, resulting in the injury.

Good signing, even if it is completely out of the blue.

Theres absolutely no harm in signing experience, especially with the amount of youngsters in our squad/starting XI.

Re Journeymen - you could class Ricketts as one, and look at the positive impact he has yet. While Cole hasn't set the world alight on the pitch yet, he will come good. His influence off the pitch shouldn't be underestimated either. Hunt is definitely the type of player you want on your side. Having two journeymen with nearly 100 combined international caps isn't a bad thing.

I think TM admitted that they probably pushed him harder that they should have, so club partly to blame for his injury. However the others seem to have come through their trials with flying colours so probably less likely to get injured after their first kick of a ball

Decent signing. Experience could come in handy. Don't think he'll walk into the side but will be a useful option.

Wow out of nowhere.

He's been on trial for a week apparently, I wonder how many more we have on trial

Were our local press too busy trying to whip up a storm about Armstrong to manage to notice a player that was here and training?

It's not like it can be excused in saying at training he was always standing behind Reda Johnson.

We haven't got any other man mountains he could have hidden behind have we?

Are Andy Turner and poole full time or on a freelance basis?

If it's full time, it just be piss easy doing a couple of articles a week then going to the game and doing a match report.

Is it just a month initially?

It's probably so we can play him in the 21's 2-3 times and if he breaks down like the swede we can cut our losses.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors :)

Judging by his Twitter videos, he's still been training with Ipswich

A great player but surely he's getting on a bit now, to be coming back to us? :thinking about:

Never like Hunt or his brother but then again didn't like Wise until he signed.

Quality, things are looking up. No wonder we let Kent go back. Let's hope we can avoid the problem of being a good team doing well which gets unsettled by a big name signing e.g. Newcastle with Asprilla, arguably us with Moldovan

Hold on leave Moldovan alone, he scored one of my favourite goals. At Aston Villa in the cup on Valentines Day 1998. Aston Villa 0 -CCFC 1

Filling the squad with experience Wonder if that's what TM sides lacked in the past when he's spoken about his sides being top at Xmas and not going up?

Just logged on, reading through thread and this was my thoughts exactly. Even if Ramage/Hunt aren't in the team, they're on the training ground and in the dressing room helping the youngsters. A winning mentality is a hugely elusive thing.

And most importantly... ready to step in when the shit hits the fan rather than asking kids to.

Just seemed a real moaner and just got on my nerves, but a lot of opposition players tend to;)
Kenny Daglish used to moan and go man to man on the ref....but I wish City had signed him.

I know what you mean though, I hated Speedie until he was a City player. I then realised he was a victim rather than a villain.

Same with Wise as well, when they become your player it is different and I think we have been missing players who help the ref run the game and can be a bit nasty.

Left sided, can play midfield or defence. Irish and a decent career but past his best now.

Hopefully better than Kevin Kilbane.

Trivia note: Hunt was the player that injured Pert Cech and the reason he wears a skull-cap.

Whilst we are dishing out breaking news, his surname is Hunt and he plays football professionally.

Really don't get the signings of Ramage and Hunt and Rose.

Are they likely to play?? I doubt they will be ready for a couple of weeks.

Yes they they used to be decent players. And please don't compare these two signings with Sam Ricketts who was playing regular football at decent level albeit on loan at Swindon. And captained winning the league just couple years ago.

These chaps Haven't played in months. ( Yes I don't count the Indian premier league as any benchmark).

I'm not impressed by their past. It's about the here and now and future.

im very sceptical , I hope I'm wrong but really not impressed but will reserve judgement and trust in Mowbray.

Hunt is living in Wexford, not too far away from where I live. He now owns a bar/restaurant and it's doing quite well. Although he hasn't been training with a club he has been training a lot as he has been trying to get a club. One thing is for certain, although he's not the most skilful player he will always give his all. Another good option for us I think.
