Hi Weeman, I had intended going today but it threw it down all night and today. Everywhere is flooded up here including my back garden. Hard earned victory today but needed the points so all's good.

First half we struggled with their physicality, missed Turner Fleck and JOB.
Second half we were by far the better team, they couldn't keep up the tempo.
Cole was a lot better from 30 min until he went off. Thought Phillips was excellent second half and I'm not a fan of his. Martin was good first half. Bigi better in the second, some excellent passes but not physical enough for that role for me.
Armstrong needs to be dropped. Offers us nothing and is too greedy when he doesn't score for a bit. JOB and Madders have to start next game.

Hi Fred, hope things start to dry up soon for you up there. I have friends in Carlisle and Leeds and the updates look bleak. Fingers crossed that the rain starts easing.
Important 3 points today for us. Hopefully this is the turning point from the recent run we've been on.

The record books will say Cov 1-0 Port Vale. At this minute, that's all that matters.
I think we need to have a consistent starting 11. I reckon consistency will breed more confidence in the team.
