Average salary in Cov = £33k (per payscale.com)
Weekly = £635 (rounded)
Tax & NI = £126
Take Home Pay = £509
Ticket cost as a % of income = 7.3%
UK minimum wage = £10.43/hour
Full time employee (40 hour week) = £417 (rounded)
Tax & NI = £56
Take Home Pay = £361
Ticket cost as a % of income = 10.2%
I know at current prices, but if the price goes to £450 as Pete suggested in an earlier post, it’ll certainly make me think about it a bit more than I do currently…
£450 / 23 = £19.50..
If you miss several games though:
£450 / 15 = £30
My issue is that I can't make every game...
STH at the moment, but I miss 7 or 8 home games each season. Buying single tickets quickly start to become the cheaper option...
