I’d sell Wright from the list above. Fires on all cylinders far to infrequently for my liking and tbh we kind of got by ok when he was injured.
Equally I think the starting teams a weaker one when Rudoni and MVE are absent. So it’s Wright for me.
I’m curious re Wilson. Is he still recovering from injury or not ?
When Lampard came into the job he said everyone would be given a chance. I guess alluding to something along the lines of the slate is wiped clean and everyone is looked at with a fresh pair of eyes.
Yet here we are still stuck...
I think MVE is an exceptional player for us in both quality and output in the pitch but also as a character to have around. He just seems one of the good guys in the set up. I’m a big fan.
Is there a player that’s played as many minutes over the last two seasons as MVE ? Always plays (fully...
Let’s not get too carried away with this assumed Collins revival. He has had very very little to do the last few games. Let’s judge him when we face some teams which put us under pressure in front of goal.
The linesman on our side of the pitch was also awful.
How he believes he can give offside correctly when he is in a different half of the pitch to the action is beyond me and many sat around this evening.
A genuine question. Officials this seasons have been awful. I watch games at the CBS and often think both us and the visiting team would have reasons to feel hard done by.
Are the performances of match officials reviewed by anyone ? Are they held to account for the quality of their decisions...
I think the outfield players feel nervous with Collins in goal. Even before the two goals went in it was noticeable how little he was included in play. Very few pass backs to him compared to when we play Dovin.
Does this mean that Frank hasn’t written Collins off like the majority of Sky Blues supporters ?
He was terrible last year, worse this year yet he remains at face value our chosen number two ? Is Wilson still not ready for a return or are we stuck with Collins as our genuine chosen number two...
@Saddlebrains
hope you don’t mind the question. A number of months back you said something along the lines of the camp not been a happy one and a number of players were wanting to jump ship. Do you know if the mood has changed and players are more committed to and dare I say convinced about...
Sheaf to us is like Luke Shaw is to Man United. Good but regularly broken and about as fragile as glass.
He’s good but let’s move him on this summer and get someone who can play regularly throughout a season.
Pre Frank coming in people here were saying this was an easy run of fixtures which we would get maximum or near maximum points from.
Since then wins haven’t been convincing. We’ve been unable to beat 10 man teams. There’s the same slow play during games and a lack of moral fibre when we go...
My lad did Club mascot last season as well. Met all the players pre match for photos and signing of a ball apart from O’Hare who never came out to meet them.
