I do mostly agree (especially with the first bit 😉) but haven't been entirely convinced by the balance in MF since Hamer left. Also I don't think the midfield is entirely blameless in either penalty area. They are all under their xG bar Eccles.

Interestingly a lot of the stats based websites had him as our worst player v Blackburn. (e.g. Blackburn Rovers vs Coventry City live score, H2H and lineups | Sofascore). I'm not really sure what to make of that information but there it is. 🤷‍♂️

Go right back to the 8th game and we are only 1 point off 6th. This season has always been about the other end. The reality is that we haven't even been particularly good over the last 8 games and we are somehow 6 points off West Brom. 1 more off Blackburn who surely aren't making play offs...

Why are we so desperate to play wingers though? Won the last 2 with 3 at the back and 2 up front and can see us sticking that way for Watford/Swansea/Leeds by which time you would expect EMC at least to be back. Been unlucky with injuries but left of the three is probably our strongest...

People who think our squad is terrible should take a look at that Stoke side. Without Cannon there is not much there. People mocked Robins for looking at BTA but he walks into that team. Add in the likelihood of getting sacked in 3 months and that the job is based in Stoke... can't really see...
