Match Thread Coventry City - Middlesbrough Match Thread - Saturday 3rd May

If there was a coordinated and collective blowing air, would it reach the pitch? Just thinking if a Boro player shoots and everyone blows, would it take the pace off?

We will reach the playoff final and in the penalty shootout he will make the decisive penalty save and will be the hero. What a story that would be.

Not feeling confident as I think we will have a thread bare defence or players carrying injuries. Hopefully the crowd will make a difference. Been a while (Sunderland) since we have seen a decent performance from a forward. Need to see more.

    Matchday Rewind Coventry City 0 - 1 Everton | Sat, 01 Aug, 1987

I threw my Cov flat cap over the fence. Dave Bennett stood on it. I managed to get it back with a stud mark. Still have the cap but the mark has disappeared now.

Everything is 'of course' if you don't apply context. Stats alone doesn't.

    Fábio Tavares

Initially, coming off the bench more often. His pace v tiring defence would have been an asset. Then if he showed his worth... How much did we pay for BTA? Has he shown that he is much better? Is Simms any better? Stronger definitely but not a better finisher and not a better first touch. My...

    Fábio Tavares

I hope he has a decent career. Seems a nice character. He has had rough luck with injuries. His Burton loan was a chance to show his development and then he injured himself after scoring. Now fit again and he gets a goal and an assist in two cameos. I don't think he was given a fair crack under...

Would be interesting to see training photos. Latibeudiere's injury is a concern from Lampard's comments. Being strapped up at halftime is different to how it settles days after. If he, Thomas and Van Erwijk are not fit and with DaSilva suspended, we may really struggle to get a defence together...

    For the older fans here

I have always reacted badly when we lose, even when I was a kid. It affects my weekend. However, when we win the elation balances it out. Some games are worse than others. My stress response v Luton was far higher than usual, which reflected the roller coaster game. Concerned but hopeful at...

Match Thread Luton Town - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 26th Apr

Some people posted that Latibeudiere was a stupid player. I have to disagree. I think the opposite is true. He was having a torrid time first half against Morris but totally turned it round second half and didn't give him an inch. A player who can adapt to CB in a 2 or 3; a right back and DM...

    Binks

The goal wasn't Binks fault. Yes he could have adjusted his feet but he has hardly played any minutes of late and then had to face a barrage of attacks. Thought he played well and he is still early 20s. I don't agree he was a bad signing.

    Outcomes required for Playoffs

Sheffield United may rest players and psychologically are not going to be on a high. Blackburn could beat them. Can't see Millwall beating Burnley but they are a team in form.

    1 game to go

It will interesting to see if there is any reaction to Latibeudiere's injury. Looked like it was serious before his quick recovery. However when the adrenaline goes and the boot comes off it may be another story. Once upon a time we struggled for left sided centre backs. Now it could be right sided.

Unfortunately I can see Millwall sneaking in
