What was the sliding doors moment of the season

Maybe if we beat Middlesbrough, we will slide the doors in the opposite direction

What was the sliding doors moment of the season

BTA injury and the illness I think started the rot. He has a knack of being in the right place for scraps in the 6 yard area. The Oxford game, though not missing through injury, was the type of game he would have made a big difference. His energy was also missing when he was out. We may never...

    On a positive note…

Let's hope the new context of scrapping to keep or retain our position brings a new dynamic and more intensity, compared to coasting out in front.

First contact in the opposition's penalty area

I think both Thomas and Kitching warranted being left out. However, it would have made sense to bring Thomas on after the sending off to load the box from set pieces and open play.

Thought it was an honest assessment by both. We dominated; we needed to be more clinical; we needed to be more risky. They should have been down to 9 (I actually think 8 with Brannigan's foul on Rudoni.

    Wright

You like your stats don't you? Minutes per goal: Wright 180 minutes; Simms 107. Wright 1 assist; Simms 2.

    Wright

But he occupies defences, which Wright does not.

    Wright

My point is that he was in form and he was replaced. Having the odd game here and there is different to having a run of games.

    Wright

We should never have dropped Simms when he was on a great run of form. We should have stuck with him and let Haji make a statement from the bench. It was far too easy for him to walk back in and far too easy to keep his place. We could have sold him and bought Kone for half of the money at the...

    How much longer?

It is very frustrating but no way can we sack the manager that has put us in this position.

Haji Wright was pretty dreadful. Felt it looked good earlier on with his foraging run. After that he mistimed headers, fluffed a golden opportunity and blocked at least one shot on target - Rudoni and maybe Yang too.

So, so frustrating. I thought this game had to be a win to stop our slide. They had a lot of luck and the ref should have sent off Brown and Brannigan for blatant second yellows. Missed Mason-Clark. Feeling very deflated.

Pretty comfortable but need a bit more quality in the final third. Thought Eccles and Sakamoto were probably our best players.
