    Replacement goalie

So if i'm not mistaken, until the Dunn deal is a done deal, we'll be replacing Ireland's No2 with Ireland, until Murphy signs? Gotta love this club!!!

    Best City Signing

Trevor Peake, Killer and Oggy all came here for pretty much bugger all and were the foundation stone for our greatest achievement. Still like to believe that in todays game you can build such success from the back!!!

Don't put the name on you're shirt!!!

Every year we seem to lose a popular or inspirational player. Is this true? Lets get the ball rolling... 2011 - King (so far) 2010 - Best 2009 - Fox, Dann and Tabb (Henderson?) 2008 - Adebola 2007 - 2006 - McSheffery, John? and Wise 2005 - 2004 - 2003 - Davenport 2002 - Thompson, Boothroyd...

    20+ goals a season playing 4-3-3

Not scared by Premiership football at all right now! Division One football would scare me shitless however. Onward and upward.

    R u watching man utd

It seemed at times as if every one of the Barcalona players was seeing the game from a birdseye position whilst playing it on the ground! Collective understanding meets tactical knowledge meets technical genius. At times, I couldn't work out where the M U players were supposed to be playing...

"I could have been a contender" players!

I would be interested to know the players which you believe could have established themselves in Sky Blue had it not been for either; 1) Injury (i.e. S Robson, Osborne) 2) Tactics (i.e. E Ward, Morrell) 3) Over-expectation / Fan abuse (i.e. McIndoe, Kyle) 4) Being a Knob (i.e. Bellamy...

    Extremely hypothetical question

I'd go down to the casino and put it all on red, although I think that was the foundation stone of `Operation Premiership`! Spend it all on Lee Hughes, that should work.

    Marlon King

Would love him to stay but fear that we might be the Oldham of the Lee Hughes scenario, namely the club that takes the s*** which his next club will not experience. He is so important to us right now, particularly with our young/inexperienced attacking players.

Centre back pairing for next season.

Turner and McPake to start the season in August and finish it in September!!!

    Predicted team for next year

Where is Crainie in all this? Must start under Thorn, anywhere across the back four. One of our few `luxury` players IMHO.

How many cliches in a quote? World class!

David Bell - “We have been starting games really well and getting that first goal but we need to be a bit more ruthless and see teams off because one goal is never enough in a game because it only takes a second to score a goal and it is never over until the final whistle goes." Read More...

Thorn has an eye for a good player

I too believe that Thorn has an eye for a decent player, and he has certainly shown in the last two months that he knows how they should be utilised! It is worth noting that he has not been associated with some of our less successful signings, although all successful coaches/managers/scouts...
