No he was actually booked 2 or 3 mins later, BBC feed gives the booking at 36 mins. Lampard was wrong in the interview but he would have walked for the 2nd yellow for sure.
It was a clear pen but the ref was off the pace again!.
Easy to say now, might need those points in the summer. He's always had a serious error in him, we've just not seen it for a little while. Lads were playing while sick there and he goes and chucks the points away!
What was going through Dasilva's mind? A really shocking tackle and in a position where there was just no need. "I got the ball ref" Might have cost other players injuries too putting everything on the line for us. Unforgiveable!
Pochettino wouldn't! We'd be absolutely mad to move Haji on this side of a World Cup, his value could really sky rocket if he does well there and we wouldn't be able to afford to keep him anyway. Even if he doesn't get a game he's become an international regular while with us...
Wright's looked very sharp and he's working hard but Rudi's still got some way to go. Those runs into the box are still missing, for example and while we don't have that threat it's leaving Haji a bit too isolated. I agree that the injuries have held us back recently.
I don't imagine that Brighton will want to sell him - they didn't want to in the summer and they've stood by him for a few seasons now, through thick and thin.
Not having a dig at KKH, just reminding a few people here that there are reasons beyond the ref that we didn't get anything from the game. We mustn't get all spoilt and entitled when things don't go our way!
Goalkeeper handling the ball isn't usually a straight red, it has to be denying a clear goalscoring opportunity as well. Being off centre has saved him there.
