Yeah, you’ve been through it.
But that’s the thing that’s frustrating from our point of view, you’ve been through the mire in the lower division, seen a promotion and now you’re surpassing us, and you’re one of many teams to do so.
It’s not exactly thrilling knowing you’re going to finish...
Oh ah, that sounds like a proper day out. Enjoy.
There are plenty of decent pubs around and the waterfront is walkable from Ashton Gate. Nova Scotia and The Cottage is worth a visit too
Evening all.
Well, the mood here is pretty flat. Lots of injuries, selling our best players midway through a season whilst pushing for the top 6 has left a sour taste with the fanbase. The club ownership feels stale currently, and the fans have just lost belief in the hierarchy.
We’re just...
We got a draw at their place in March and could have easily got all 3 points if it wasn’t for Cooper in goal. We played well that night! At home we were leading 1-0 until the 86th minute, Rob Dickie then gets sent off for us, they score 2 goals to win it at the death.
So you might be right, but...
Over two legs I don’t think so, no.
We’ve lost Sykes and Pring (both wingbacks) through injury recently that’s hampered us, hence why we crawled over the finish line. But having said that, you never know. It’s just nice to be involved after years and years of mid table boredom ha!
What do you...
I’m looking at your last game against Boro on the final day. Boro have got to play two teams on the beach, whilst we’ve got Luton and Leeds away… tough!
We could be 7th going into the final day with you two passing the ball around the back four all game.
We’ve been here before haven’t we?!
I can’t believe we’re in the mix at this stage. The performances since Xmas have gone to another level.
Still a long way to go though! You v Boro on the last day looks massive.
