Seems obvious to me to allow players to play in their natural positions. This is when they thrive, but FL seems to stubbornly persist in playing Wright as a CF which he’s not. The Sunderland 3-0 game was an exception in spite of the fact Wrught had a hat trick. Sunderland weren’t really bothered...
Well they had a cutting edge when it mattered most. Baker is always a threat going forward and scored a good goal. Think they had 2 debutants who scored today as well. Anyway, we need to be more direct and mix it up, aside from only slinging crosses.
The cut backs were frustrating as the goal was gaping and just waiting for the final touch. Despite all their focus on crosses and headers, I wish FL and his coaches spent time working on finishing cut backs in the 6 yard box. So many teams score goals this way.?
