Can see the shot the entire way but tries to anticipate a touch and thinks Kitching or Palmer are going to block it instead of getting behind the line of the ball. Terrible goalkeeping.
The point is we’re playing Maidstone United and I get that we need to respect any opposition but the rotated squad should still win that game comfortably so I’d rather not sacrifice a league game that a win puts us back in a highly contested top 6.
We shouldn’t be sacrificing any league games, we should be sacrificing Maidstone on Monday if needs be. A weakened side should still beat them comfortably.
This is part of the point, he clearly makes very clean good contact with the ball but you still make the point of it potentially being a miss kick. Why not just take it for what it is, a clean well taken penalty instead of searching for a way to make it look poor and unintended.
