There is no point arguing with these people. In their heads we are still a plucky L1 club who should simply be happy to be in this league. If you can’t get your head round how bad it would be to not get promoted this season at this point there is no getting through to you.
We edged the Millwall game for the most part and deserved to win but should have probably been 2-1 if not for Rushworth. Leicester we were genuinely diabolical first half and should have been minimum 2-0 down if not 3. Lampard changed it at half time and we were by far the better team second...

There is a pretty key contextual difference between the expectations of a team who were in a position ‘no-one has failed to be promoted from in 100 years’ and a team who would be favourites to get relegated from the Premier League.
Key contextual differences though namely
1. Oxford are much worse than Hull and were absolutely terrible today
2. Post-Hull we didn’t have the giant spectre of the lead we’d thrown away looming over the players which will impact the ability to go on another good run
3. Our best run of form...
