Looking at Amenda I would guess he has never played in a Back 3 before last week. Happy to be proved wrong on that. He looks much more decisive playing as a 2 at Centre half where he can attack the ball, and knows his role.

Our passing completion was 69%, with only 43 completed passes in the Final 3rd. We only gave away 9 fouls, 1 which was the red card, and 1 the penalty so only 7 fouls in the rest of the game. You are not going to win any game with stats like that.

Agree about being too nice. Who complained about Awonyi being sent off? Who complained about the penalty? I noticed that when the penalty was awarded Dunk ran 70 yards to get in the Refs ear even though he awarded the penalty. Look at the sending-off, Dunk immediately said "that's a red card"...

Awonyi cannot play upfront on his own. He has no pace (then again most of our players don't, a massive failing of our recruitment) to get away from players. Also the long ball tactic to him is pointless, he is very poor in the air (the miss at Plymouth), so not really seeing what £9 million has...
