I think that the only way you get anything (consistently) from Bright is exactly demanding that he earns the opportunity on & off the pitch.
Otherwise he has a couple of great games then considers everything needs to go through him and he stops working for the team.
At present he is a backup to...
Even if Walton was a more expensive deal to do, we haven't seen anything so far from Moore to challenge the notion we was first choice all along.
Also this is a loan and we have Moore under contract.
YPPpPP
Much as many may hate it. This would have been 'Plan A' from the moment he signed.
We are, where we are in the football pyramid and development and selling at a profit is a legitimate business model. Because let's face it, if a West Ham or Leicester (or PSV/Feyenoord) come in for him...
If MR names today's starting XI, dont you think that we would be better to employ DaCosta at RCB & Dabo at RWB?
DaCosta certainly seems more proficient at defending and majority of his heads gone moments appear when he is attacking (over hitting crosses and/or crossing way too early).
Harvey White 20 y-o at Spurs U_23's could be our second loan target.
Left sided defensive midfielder. Was on loan at Pompey last year, mainly appeared from the bench. I think they want to get him a loan in the Championship, so maybe we are looking?
This whole Moore v Walton debate is pretty straightforward as I see it.
Walton would have been #1 on our list for GK, but would have used more of the budget.
Moore was brought in as they believe he is an upgrade on what we had and allow us to persue signings in other areas of need.
Basically...
Lewis Gibson (Everton U23's) would have been coached by Lawrence. Played a bit on loan with Reading last year.
Left footed defender, probably not a wing back but could slot into LCB of our 3. Wouldn't be surprised if he is on our loan radar. No intel, just speculation :)

I’m sure I have read somewhere it is 15% but is off the profit so you have to take off what Leicester paid Norwich which I think was £20million so doing the maths it looks to me to be about £900k.
Nice little earner
I'm not sure on this.
It will...
+1 to this. Norwich hold his registration and I am not surprised they want him to take on a different challenge.
I don't particularly think they chose QPR as they are a far superior outfit. However, they will learn more about Sam with the hoops than where he is comfortable. Good luck to him, he...
I think I could stretch to one more year of McCallum on season loan deal. He suits our style too well. Gives coaches a chance to see what they have in Reid. However, likely Norwich sink back to Championship for next season so I feel he will get a run there long term.
His salary is reported at 6k for Briz in a couple of places. With pandemic players may be glad to get back on same terms. Admit you are rolling the dice with Bright.

I may be feeling over optimistic with how England are performing in the Euro's, but I would like if this scenario could play out in next week or two:
Sell Allen for a reasonable fee (200-250k) to Lg.1 clubs linked. Move Kasta and Jobello on frees. Reckon...
