I have to answer this becuase you are taking a very pesamistic viewpoint with little regard or experience of funding such projects over the long term. Initially a relatively small expansion by adding to each end of the ground would not be that expensive to pull off. In the world of premier...

Like I said....the games much bigger these days. We have consistantly had great attendances since coming back into the championship. The premier league will require more capacity. Without it, there will be thousands of fans unable to see a game in their home ground!

We will need a second tier building on when in the premier league. We need a capacity of 40/45k. Always said 32k was not big enough for a one club city the size of Coventry. The game is so much bigger these days.

Sorry but a goalkeeper is never in striker territory. He has not played for them in the premier league. 10m as you are suggesting would give us a whole new bunch of options. You're inflating worth. If we could not get him for 5/6m then I'd say no.

We should sign him in the January window. I would have thought 5m would be enough, as he has never featured for them and is loaned out. The fact he is doing well for us atm is neither here or there at this stage, he could turn quickly into a flop. So 5m should get it done and worth the punt.
