I’m happy enough with the first half. We’re continuing our lessons after the slump and sitting back a little more.
Go in at half time 0-0 and hopefully our quality will see us through when players like Hamer get pulled around minute 60
Fantastic away win.
Don’t think we should be so afraid to give Grimes a 10-20 minute break here and there once Onyeka is up to speed. This system change has us less reliant on him and it’s good to have more legs
I started watching "The Pitt" last week which is a drama based in a Pittsburgh emergency room. Each episode is an hour in their working day e.g. EP1 07:00 - 08:00 which I think is cool.
Two episodes in and really enjoying it so far. Season 2 is recently out too.
I hope there's some kind of psychological shift having lost top spot which unshackles some of the players. We've now transitioned from looking over our shoulders to having to fight what has been ours for most of the season.
Esse and EMC need a talking to. JD and MVE are basically on their own when teams attack us on a counter. Midfielders leave gaping holes if they get across to help. You can get away with it somewhat with MVE because of his running but JD is struggling.
Grimes has become a hindrance I fear, not for his ability, but for our overall reliance on him him being the one to start everything.
Teams just press him, allow him to give it to the centre backs and they’ll likely give it away when they go for a high percentage ball.
I watched Roofman last night which is a true story about an ex soldier (Channing Tatum) who breaks into McDonalds stores via the roof and has to live in a Toys r us store.
Easy viewing and enjoyable
