I mean you're probably entirely correct but then it's the ref's job to look at who they're reffing. If Ipswich have been conning pens in certain situations all season then they should be paying extra close attention and not falling for the same trick.

The more interesting thing in that article is that Rudi's shoulder has been so bad he hasn't been able to sleep some nights. He's clearly struggled a lot this season. I hope they get him into surgery asap now.
