An interesting evening enjoyed by the four of us. I would have liked a few more of his older classics but was happy to experience some of his more recent stuff.

Excellent 3 pts. With a third of the season gone we are in a better place than any of us thought. Lampard has built a spirit that will hopefully get us through the next run of games with our position at the top strengthened.

Yes McCallum and O’Hare were their two best players. I wonder if either regrets leaving us? I did think if we had both in our squad we would look very strong.

Agree totally. He has weaknesses but somehow he epitomises all that Frank wants from this side. The sum is far greater than the individual parts.

After first 10mins I thought we would get McCallum sent off if we fed the ball early to Tats but we seemed to take foot off the gas and allowed Sheffield to play their game at their pace. Second half we upped our game and when we quickened the pace we steamrolled them for 15mins playing quick...

I thought all the goals legitimate. Not convinced there was enough in the challenge on Tats before their third. I would have been annoyed if given against us

Moore played well. He got the bit between his teeth and we had no answer. Took all his goals well. A decent striker at this level and if you give him time and space as well as ‘get his back up’ he will punish you.

Tats was excellent. KKH did ok. Allen first half ok. Rushworth decent. Rest average to poor. Simms did ok when he came on. Defence stretched. Midfield left to cover too much ground. And attack not effective tonight. Need more bodies in midfield when under pressure.

Considering changes and we nowhere near our best it’s so far so good. Woolfy and kkh doing ok. Haji looks isolated. Think we need another as Wrexham look like they will score
