Match Thread Coventry City vs. Portsmouth Match Thread - Tuesday 2nd Oct

We certainly won't be taking you lightly Paxman. There's no gimmes in this league and Coventry have been more than holding their own. The result against Sunderland was excellent being as you should have won it also. Not sure Conor will be available though, think Jacket has said no which is...

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

He didn't get much of a look in last season with Burgess & Clark, who were excellent and didn't get injured. The matches he played, he didn't impress though. Clark got injured, pre-season and Davis got a few games and did really well in the friendlies and was in-line to start the first game...

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

It's all rumours but all good fun this time of year. I think we're wanting Stuart O'Keefe tbh.

Transfer Rumour Tom Davies - Pompey

Rumours are down here, the transfer fee for Tom Davis will be used to pay off Carl Baker for you and Ben Stevenson might be on his way to us . We're also off loading Michael Smith to someone, he just didn't fit into the very tight 4-5-1 system we played last season and lost confidence.

    Could Baker now return?

Lol Yes, sorry got confused. Don't know why he was training own on his own very much a team player. Can only assume the new manager wanted to move on a few players, wage budget and all that.

    Could Baker now return?

He can play all those roles. Very good engine, tough tackler and scored 14 for us. Gets on well with Doyle

    Could Baker now return?

Baker has been moved to center midfield and not doing that well there. He will be moved back to the right side and does have a role to play there according to our manager. This would be a great signing for you, we've released him as we are after a Cardiff player Gary Roberts: Portsmouth...

    Signing announced! - Liam O'Brien

Not quite sure why we've let Liam go tbh, perhaps he thinks No1 spot is overdue, can't really argue with that. He's a great lad with great potential and been reliable when asked to step in. Anyway good luck to him, hope he does really well for you. Good to see you're building a decent side...

    Portsmouth (Away) Match Thread

If can get a bit busy if you're going all the way down but your only going to the bridge about 800 yards and all of Havant area is the same tbh. It's going to be nice evening according to the weather forecast

    Portsmouth (Away) Match Thread

If you're coming by car and want a pre-match drink why not head towards Hayling Island first it's 1-2 miles away from ground, away from the locals and easy to find just one straight road to and from the ground. Just before Langstone Bridge there's two pubs The Ship & The Oak on the left, free...

For debate purposes, just throwing it out there...

Here's the best I can do for now Dave Pompey Supporters' Trust chairman Ashley Brown 10 April 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25590010 You might be getting confused over 500k cash injection made by presidents which watered down the PST shares originally@52%...

For debate purposes, just throwing it out there...

Could I just clear something up as there appears to be some confusion over this issue. Portsmouth FC has some 2,368 shareholders which between them raised about £2.5m through individual pledges of £1,000. The PST owns just under 51% of the club, with a group of 13...

SISU out banners at the Ricoh......

Well I'm quite close to the PST and that's not really the truth of the matter. But I take your point Dave and won't hijack the thread and bore you death with our whatevers. we do agree though, the problem all clubs face especially clubs like ours, is what represents success and what should fan...
